⚡️At least 306 regime forces killed and 49 captured as Fano destroys an entire regiment in Kiremu Woreda (📍East Wollega Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia) on June 19th. 🔵 The operation involved Fano units under the Yibeltal Mekonnen Addis-Alem Division (AFNM-ASC), which confronted a large-scale regime offensive launched from Addis-Alem Kebele and surrounding military bases toward Bajin Kebele. 🔴 Prior to the fighting, regime forces carried out indiscriminate heavy weapon shelling and drone surveillance operations in the area, resulting in civilian casualties and property destruction. 🔵 The main confrontation occurred in the Shohoro-Medhanealem locality on June 19th, where Fano forces launched a counter-offensive and overwhelmed regime units deployed in the area, leading to the complete destruction of the regime army's 3rd Regiment. 🔵 Preliminary reports indicate that at least 306 regime forces were killed and 49 others captured, including six senior military officers and 43 infantry soldiers. Fano forces pursued and attacked surviving regime troops as they retreated from the battlefield. 🔵 Fano forces reported capturing a significant cache of military equipment, including more than 120 Kalashnikov rifles, DShK heavy machine guns, Bren light machine guns, sniper rifles, large quantities of assorted ammunition, and other military hardware. 🔴 Following the clashes, regime authorities shut down telecommunications and internet services throughout the area. #Amhara_War_Updates

⚡️At least 49 civilians killed, over 280 missing, and the 101-year-old St. Gabriel Church burned down in deadly attack on Amhara and Orthodox Christian communities in Aseko Woreda (📍East Arsi Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia) between May 31st and June 3rd. 🔴 According to sources on the ground, armed militants carried out coordinated attacks against Amhara communities and followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church across Teleta-Gabriel, Kuftena, Medhanealem, Bayo Kebele, and surrounding areas. 🔴 The attacks reportedly killed at least 49 civilians, left more than 280 people missing, and destroyed 234 homes, while large quantities of civilian property and livestock were looted. Thousands of residents were forced to flee toward safer areas, including Sunte. 🔴 Among the sites destroyed was the historic 101-year-old St. Gabriel Church in Teleta-Chefa, which was reportedly burned to the ground. Additional structures belonging to Kara-Kufta and Medhanealem church compounds were also destroyed. 🔴 Sources alleged that security forces failed to effectively intervene during the attacks and, in some cases, prevented local security volunteers from reaching affected communities. ⚡️Heavy fighting across South Wollo Zone (📍Amhara Region, Ethiopia) disrupted election-day activities as Fano offensives expand across five woredas. 🔵 On June 1st, Fano units under the 25th Division and 105th Corps (AFNM-MC) launched coordinated offensives across Albuko, Mekane-Selam, Wegdi, Mehal-Sayint, Amhara-Sayint, and Mekdela Woredas as part of broader election-day operations targeting regime security deployments. 🔵 In Albuko Woreda, Fano units under the 25th Division conducted “Operation Ansha Sayed,” advancing into regime strongholds at Gola-Guba and Captain Terara. The fighting reportedly inflicted significant losses on regime forces, with local residents later involved in burying those killed in the Salmene area. 🔵 In Mekane-Selam City and Wegdi Woreda, offensives targeted regime forces assigned to secure election activities, resulting in clashes across Sowe, Mekdela, Ayer-Marefiya, Tewa, Lemi, Wegdi town, and the Kone direction. ⚡️Over 100 regime soldiers killed and 20 captured as Fano launches multi-front offensive across four woredas in South Gonder (📍South Gonder Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia). 🔵 On October 19th, Fano forces launched a coordinated large-scale assault across Estie, Farta, Andabet, and Dera Woredas, striking regime positions on five major fronts under the AFNF-BC 1st Corps. 🔵 In Estie Woreda, fierce battles in Sholekt and Dengolt Kebeles led by the Estie-Densa and Hagere-Bizen Brigades (Guna Division) left over 100 regime soldiers dead, 30 injured, and 20 captured. Fano seized four Bren LMGs, 30 automatic rifles, and 15 manual rifles. ⚡️At least 22 Orthodox Christians killed by Oromo militants linked to ISIS and Al-Shabaab in coordinated attacks across Arsi Zone (📍Oromia Region, Ethiopia). 🔴 Between October 27th and 28th, unidentified Oromo militants believed to be linked to ISIS and Al-Shabaab carried out coordinated attacks targeting Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (EOTC) followers across Guna, Enkole-Wabe, and Sherka Woredas, killing at least 22 civilians and abducting several others. 🔴 In Guna Woreda, militants killed 14 civilians, including children as young as two, after forcing families from their homes in Nono-Jawi Kebele. Several of the victims had been abducted a day earlier and later found dead. Survivors said the attackers specifically targeted Orthodox Christians during the nighttime assault. 🔴 In Enkole-Wabe Woreda, five Orthodox civilians were killed and a church servant from Egziabher-Ab Churchwas abducted in Kakisa Kebele. The killings follow a series of similar attacks that have claimed more than ten lives in the woreda this year alone. 🔴 In Sherka Woreda, three civilians were killed and four abducted on the night of October 27th. Victims’ families said the attacks were deliberate and religiously motivated. ⚡️At least 19 Amhara civilians killed and over 560 homes burned by Oromia Special Forces (OSF) amid escalating state violence in Gida-Ayana Woreda (📍East Wollega Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia). 🔴 Since December 23rd, joint regime forces have carried out large-scale military operations across multiple kebeles in Gida-Ayana Woreda, particularly targeting areas predominantly inhabited by ethnic Amharas. Fighting intensified following the deployment of OSF commando units to Andode-Dicho Kebele, where regime forces reportedly suffered significant casualties and material losses during clashes. 🔴 In retaliation, regime forces engaged in widespread human-rights violations between December 23rd and 27th, killing at least 19 civilians and injuring several others. Civilians were reportedly burned alive inside their homes and attacked with firearms and bladed weapons. The violence was accompanied by extensive destruction of property, including the burning of at least 562 residential homes, grain warehouses, and small businesses, as well as the destruction of 29 motorcycles, three bajaj vehicles, and a maize-shelling combiner. 🔴 The sustained attacks have triggered mass displacement, with the majority of residents fleeing the affected kebeles.
