Here's another look at that potential double play ball that Francisco Lindor was not in position to turn:

Another mistake from Francisco Lindor, whose decision not to charge this ball allowed Teoscar Hernandez to hustle down the line with an infield hit. The Dodgers are now rallying in the eighth.

Here's one you don't see every day! Mark Vientos dropped a foul pop-up. Fans booed. One batter later, Mark Vientos caught an almost identical pop. Fans mock cheered. So Vientos took the opportunity to fire them up a little.

Unreal throw by Carson Benge to cut down a run at the plate and save Zach Thornton another earned run. Benge uncorked that one at 94.8 mph.

The Mets committed throwing errors on consecutive plays in the fourth inning, resulting in two more Nationals runs. Just when momentum was really starting to shift in their favor, the Mets have responded with one of their sloppier games in recent memory.

The Twins loaded the bases with no outs when Mark Vientos tried to nab the lead runner at third base on this sacrifice bunt attempt. The next batter, Luke Keaschall, put them ahead on an RBI single. The Mets are three outs away from losing their 12th in a row.

Carson Benge just snapped an 0-for-24 skid with this single. He's batting .108.

Mets executives including David Stearns are on hand today to break ground on the team's new 55,000-sq-ft Minor League clubhouse. The previous complex has been here since 1988. "It's going to cement us as the preeminent player development organization in baseball," Stearns said.

Jacob Young is singlehandedly trying to keep the Mets out of the playoffs.

Carson Benge has now reached base safely in all four of his plate appearances tonight. This was one of his better struck hits all spring, 108 mph off the bat. Benge's Grapefruit League batting average is up to .406.
