A YouTuber tested ARC Raiders matchmaking by using 2 separate accounts: one where he engaged in PvP and another where he was only friendly. The conclusion: The game's matchmaking indeed judges your aggression and puts you into friendly or hostile lobbies accordingly.

Embark CEO says that engaging in PvP is against the ethos of ARC Raiders. He clarifies that the game's core design isn't about actively encouraging players to shoot each other. Instead, the PvP element is primarily used to create tension and uncertainty.

ARC Raiders PC players are bypassing in-game limits by modifying local config files to force ultra-wide FOV and high-visibility presets. This exploit provides a significant competitive advantage. Embark needs to look into this issue and fix it ASAP.
