finally got the checks element framed i got it mostly done the way jack had it exhibited with christie’s the only change was i chose to have it slightly elevated; for the ripped edge i have started to prefer that and like the shadow it creates whilst many in our digital space might think it a palaver to go through this stuff - and it is certainly not straight forward for a new collector - i find it quite meaningful to think hard on the framing, the elevation (idk if that’s the right word), the glass, where it fits into a room maybe it’s a novelty for me, but i think this is a wonderful distraction from the daily work, a beautiful distraction
