finally got the checks element framed i got it... mostly done the way jack had it exhibited with christie’s the only change was i chose to have it slightly elevated; for the ripped edge i have started to prefer that and like the shadow it creates whilst many in our digital space might think it a palaver to go through this stuff - and it is certainly not straight forward for a new collector - i find it quite meaningful to think hard on the framing, the elevation (idk if that’s the right word), the glass, where it fits into a room maybe it’s a novelty for me, but i think this is a wonderful distraction from the daily work, a beautiful distractionshow more

You know I love Unreal Engine. I finally got... to the stage where I started practicing optimization. For 4 hours I tried to make the glass with ice not only outside the window in reality, but also for the game. I made several variants and even interesting patterns for UV, which I will show later in separate "learn stuff" videos. Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on... FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.show more

Rumor has it I’m still swimming… 😂 Lol, but... hey, I’m about to get real for a second. There have been many moments recently where I’ve felt like the currents have been too tough to swim through… All I wanted to do was throw in the towel and come up for air. I'd be careful in how you talk about this... subject. It is very easy, even if you are familiar with it, to spread misinformation. Last post on this I'd appreciate if people took... the time to read it and share it because I think when people listen they deserve credit but TRNSMT have done more than that I complained about the disabled situation TRNSMT Festival and I think the fact that they listened and made changes is the kind of progressive attitude we need towards disabled facilities. I wasn't complaining to come across as some sort of Karen, it just genuinely would've been a health and safety risk. So I think it's only right that I commend them for the work they've done with the platform this year. The platform has many key things that I think make it the best at any festival I've been at. 1.Clear marked out lanes for people to move out to the toilets and back to their seat to avoid congestion and create space 2. A bar for disabled people beside the platform this is amazing. 3. Toilets well spaced out as well as a changing places toilets for people who more severe disabilities beside the platform. 4. Plenty of space in the toilets. 5. It's huge and you feel really close to the stageshow more
