As of 5th Gen, yes. That's heavily implied to be the reason. Their anatomy and even skeleton are the same as the other Raths, but their shell is different. It is assumed that something in their diet causes this, but it's unclear what they eat.

The tiny bit of Violet Mizutsune I mentioned for Wilds' Mizutsune. Soulseer Mizutsune and Apex Mizutsune never had a fiery beam, but Violet Mizutsune did. Most of Wilds' Mizutsune's water-based attacks have fire properties when it is in that "Soulseer State."

Is Jin okay? Honestly, I've seen this happen to Jin Dahaad a few times at the start of a quest. It starts acting normal after you attack, but it's always funny seeing it T-Posing.

I miss this, yet don't at the same time. In terms of Wilds, I do find it interesting that our hunter is less chatty while out in the field compared to Rise, but that isn't a problem. I know hunters talking is a mixed bag for people.

I guess that explains this attack from Primordial. That wind propulsion definitely seems to get enhanced when it is afflicted by the Qurio.

🧵 The best answer I can give is that it is supposed to go with the idea of Nergigante being "nature's balance": an elder dragon that keeps other elder dragons, particularly strong ones, in check.

I forgot about this detail. Safi'jiiva isn't fooled by the Ghillie Mantle.

Since I've seen a few people bring up Rukodiora recently. I don't know about Ascendance, but I do think it is quite possible for it to appear in the Main Series in the future.

Yes, Gammoth disliking Tigrex is a part of its lore. Tigrex is a "bully" that can easily overpower and devour a young Gammoth. As a Gammoth ages, that fear and trauma turns into hate.

Back in 2017, the Rotten Vale and most of its inhabitants were revealed at Paris Games Week. October is a creepy month, and there is a chance they could reveal monsters that fit the theme of "horror." MHWA has already revealed some nightmare fuel.

Late reply, but yes, that is pretty much Nergigante's whole deal. Nergigante doesn't mind getting injured in combat. In fact, some of the injuries it sustains come from its own attacks. Not sure if this footage will show up well, but keep a close eye on its head, wing, and arm.

Arkveld marking its territory? Searching for energy? Shedding the shelling on its chain-like whips? I'm not really sure what it was doing here. #MHWilds

Some monsters should be able to weaponize their severed tail. If not that, then let them eat their own tail to restore their health/stamina.

Some ideas I have for elder dragons in #MHWilds: 1. Make their appearance in a locale alone be a new kind of season: Plenty Fallow Incelmency Elder Incelmency Perhaps even make said season more hazardous than a standard season (Random tornadoes, lava geysers, etc).

One of my recent hunts in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Here is Azure Rathalos doing the "infamous" Around The World attack. Note: I wish I were recording when Silver Rathalos did that attack.
