This is the infamous and dreadful incident at the Met Center in Bloomington, #Minnesota on Jan. 4, 1975 that began the 1970’s crusade against violence in hockey. The video is graphic. We do not see Dave Forbes of the #NHLBruins butt-end Henry Boucha of the #NorthStars in the eye when they emerge from the penalty box, but we DO see the bloody aftermath. Forbes was charged with felony aggravated assault that ended in a hung jury. Boucha required multiple stitches and medical procedures. He never again played. #Boston #NHL #Leafs
