Since Pakistani is the Republic of the Indus, Sindh, all of Sindh is Pakistan’s delta. The river used to separate into distributaries that flowed to the sea and branched off the Indus at Ghotki, Aror, Kashmore, Hyderabad and Thatta. Shaheeda Sana Mahaidly committed self sacrifice in southern Lebanon driving her car filled with xplosives into a Zionist weapons convoy. Before her death she filmed a video and explained it was a response to the brutal killings she had witnessed. Her testament at the age of 18 stands as poetry today, she asks of her father: “Baba do not cry, but dance, today I marry the soil of southern Lebanon.” She is remembered to this day as the Bride of the South.
