Rewatched The Village last night, sorta solidified itself into M Night’s upper echelon for me but man, the scene where Ivy is searching for Lucius’s hand amidst the chaos of the village trying to find who Noah stabbed fucked me up BAD. Maybe the most moving thing he’s done.

Rewatched Knock at the Cabin and man, truly don’t think any actor has married their own painful sincerity to that of Shyamalan’s dialogue as well as Dave Bautista. A pair just totally made for one another. Love how Shyamalan blocks his hulking frame in this too. Damn. So so good
