At approximately 3:40pm on September 1, 56-year-old Dawn Light was taken into custody by the Massachusetts State Police outside of the Plymouth District Courthouse, where Lindsay Clancy's case is being tried. Light was arraigned on September 2, before Jury deliberations began for Clancy's case, where she was charged with Aggravated Intimidation of a Juror. The judge ordered her to stay away from courthouse grounds, refrain from disseminating photos on iCloud, and stay away from witnesses in the Lindsay Clancy trial, but denied the $50,000 bail requested by the commonwealth. Light's attorney told the judge, “This is a complete misunderstanding, Your Honor. My client was trying to get a picture of Ms. Clancy.” Light pleaded not guilty and is to return for a pre-trial hearing on Oct. 15.

It was a terrible attack on our country,” He said. “Our responsibility is also to think about, how do we build an America where we are protecting our servicemen and woman from being asked to fight in wars we have no business fighting?” El-Sayed's past references to the deadly attacks have resurfaced, including two deleted social media posts verified by CBS News that have not been previously reported. In an interview with Politico, El-Sayed said he deleted all of his social media posts from before July 2023 earlier this summer to "prevent any old posts from being taken out of context."
