A SEPTA bus got stuck in a patch of fresh cement outside of Termini Brothers Bakery in South Philadelphia moments after passengers helped to move the roadway barriers. Vince Termini told CBS News Philadelphia that the bakery has been trying to get two holes in front of its 8th Street store fixed for about a year. Just two minutes later, the bus drove into the wet patch. SEPTA said it is investigating the incident.

Tia and Jasmin Criss, seniors at Cheyney University, the oldest historically Black university in the country, are less than two weeks away from graduating as valedictorian and salutatorian. Just three minutes older than Jasmine, Tia said the honors of being named class valedictorian and salutatorian "just happened." The twin sisters are graduates of Philadelphia High School for Girls. They credit their parents for giving them the discipline to aim high.

Upper Merion Township police said a group of "several hundred people" gathered outside the mall before it opened for a new release from Swatch.
