The CDC confirmed that the cyclosporiasis outbreak has infected more than 1,600 people nationwide. An updated map from the CDC shows the outbreak infecting people in 34 states. A memorial continues to grow on the street corner where the 22-year-old Penn State student lost his life. A man was arrested and charged for carrying a fake federal law enforcement badge and stockpiling dangerous chemicals inside his home in Olney, police say. CBS News Philadelphia was first tipped off about the unfolding investigation Thursday. Investigators returned to the home Friday to search for possible human remains, but none were found at the property, police say.

Tia and Jasmin Criss, seniors at Cheyney University, the oldest historically Black university in the country, are less than two weeks away from graduating as valedictorian and salutatorian. Just three minutes older than Jasmine, Tia said the honors of being named class valedictorian and salutatorian "just happened." The twin sisters are graduates of Philadelphia High School for Girls. They credit their parents for giving them the discipline to aim high.

Multiple heat-related injuries were reported at a Union Pacific Big Boy whistle stop event in Berks County, Pennsylvania Thursday afternoon. About 100 police officers were called to King of Prussia Mall early on Saturday morning for crowd control and dispersal connected to a watch release. Upper Merion Township police said a group of "several hundred people" gathered outside the mall before it opened for a new release from Swatch. When police told the group to move back from the mall doors, "the crowd continued to grow and and became more defiant."

Severe weather has disrupted July Fourth celebrations in Philadelphia throughout the week, and now it's threatening the city's main event. The One Philly: Unity Concert for America on the Ben Franklin Parkway was paused Saturday night as strong storms swept through the region. A small plane made an emergency landing on I-78 west of Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday morning, according to state police. Video filmed by Emily Rivera showed the plane coming to rest on a thankfully clear stretch of highway around 9 a.m. in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County. Fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene and the eastbound lanes were closed for several hours.
