Coloradans didn’t pass the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) so bureaucrats could redefine it every time they mismanage their budget. Today, I stood up to say: Honor the taxpayers. Honor TABOR. The nanny state’s solution to every self-inflicted budget problem is always the same — take more of your money. Instead of respecting your voice and your vote, they scheme to bypass your will through "creative" accounting, endless new enterprises, and manufactured exemptions.
