Construction of auxiliary piers for the mid-channel bridge of Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Railway Bridge is completed. Work now advances to the upper pylon section. On January 22 in Wuhan, the T-beam of Pier 399 at Tangbukou Sheshui Grand Bridge on the Hefei-Wuhan High-Speed Railway, built by CREC, completed a precise 75-degree counterclockwise rotation in just 90 minutes. It glided smoothly over the busy Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and settled perfectly into its designed position.

A world record achieved! A 10,400-tonne steel arch rib of the Xiamen-Kinmen Bridge (Xiamen section), in which CREC participated, was lifted 30 meters into position, setting a world record for the heaviest overall lifting of steel arch ribs for a bridge of its kind.

On Sept. 27, CREC successfully erected the world’s largest railway box girder on the Hangzhou Bay Cross - Sea Railway Bridge. It is 80 meters long and weighs 2,800 tonnes. The team developed 3,000-tonne prefabrication and smart transport technology. ✊

On March 17, CREC completed the foundation piles of Pier 137 on the Changsha Xiangjiang River Grand Rail-road Bridge. Pier 138 is now under way, with completion targeted for mid-April. This high-speed rail line will better connect inland and coastal regions.

On February 27, the first freight train departed from Ferencvaros Station in Budapest, Hungary, marking the official launch of freight services on the Hungary-Serbia Railway (Hungarian section), a project involving CREC. The Hungary-Serbia Railway connects Budapest, the capital of Hungary, and Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Upon full completion and operation, the travel time between Budapest and Belgrade will be reduced from the current 8 hours to approximately 3.5 hours, significantly enhancing connectivity in Central and Eastern Europe.
