So spectacular! A netizen captured CTG's giant wind turbines standing tall at the foot of snow-capped mountains in Xinjiang. CTG's Santai Wind Farm by Sayram Lake in Bortala generates 99.4 million kWh of clean electricity each year, saving 42,000 tonnes of coal and cutting 99,700 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

On the evening of July 28, a rare celestial show lit up the sky over Yichang, Hubei—Mars in conjunction with the Moon. This astronomical phenomenon occurs when Mars and the Moon align in the sky from Earth’s perspective, creating a stunning interplay of red and white light. That night, the moon and Mars were perfectly framed alongside the Gezhouba Dam’s power transmission towers, capturing a breathtaking encounter between heaven and earth. Were you stunned by the view too? 🎥 Footage by Zhou Baohong | CTG New Vision Studio

#CTGNews #HarmonyWithWildlife 🐦Recently, a flock of Common cranes, a species under second-class national protection in China, was captured on camera in the Three Gorges Dam area. This is the first time that a large number of Common cranes have been observed in the area during the migration season. According to the staff on site, these cranes have been appearing frequently in recent times. As one group departs, new individuals arrive. Based on their body size and feather coloration, they seem to come from different populations. On this vibrant land, CTGers have been nurturing every inch of soil and water, creating a welcoming sanctuary for rare creatures like common cranes. Their graceful silhouettes dancing against the shimmering water paint a breathtaking picture of nature’s harmony. ❤️

#HomeGuardian 🍃In the springtime forest, a tree bursts into white blooms that flutter like doves — it’s Davidia involucrata, also known as a “living fossil” in the plant world and listed under first-class national protection in China.🌱 🍀For years, CTG has been dedicated to preserving rare plant species, cultivating over 290,000 rare and valuable plants through artificial propagation. At the Yangtze River Rare Plant Research Institute, Davidia involucrata trees under ex-situ conservation bloom gracefully each spring, keeping the spirit of the season alive along the Yangtze River. 🌿 #Ecology #Biodiversity #Plants #plantsmakepeoplehappy

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. Through changing times, China-Pakistan friendship has remained as strong as iron, with the two countries often termed as "Iron Brothers", while green cooperation is becoming a new highlight of bilateral ties. Located on the Jhelum River in Pakistan, the 720 MW Karot Hydropower Project, developed by CTG and operated by CSAIL, is known as Pakistan's version of "Three Gorges Project". It is the first major CPEC hydropower project in commercial operation and the first large-scale hydropower investment project under the Belt and Road Initiative. With an average annual output of about 3.206 billion kWh, it can meet the electricity demand of more than five million local people. CSAIL also operates three wind farms in Jhimpir, Sindh, with a combined installed capacity of 148.5 MW. Together, they deliver about 443 GWh of clean electricity every year, enough to meet the power needs of more than 600,000 people. But this partnership is not only about electricity. Beyond power generation, CSAIL has supported biodiversity protection along the Jhelum River, community infrastructure, roads, bridges, water systems, hospitals, schools, scholarships and flood relief. From hydropower to wind power, from energy supply to community support, these projects show how clean energy cooperation can bring long-term value to people, nature and development.
