Tried my best to remove the text from the new Empire Dune cover! No ai, just clone stamping, spot healing, and trying :) here’s a 1080x1920 version

Tomorrow, the world tries to get Dune 3 IMAX tickets.

This worm-fight set piece looks insane, so I stitched together the shots and did some sound design to live in the scene for a bit.

Deleted scene from Dune: Part Two (2024)

About that Dune 3 trailer…

There’s this trilogy called Dune

The dune movies hit such a deep spot in the collective consciousness of movie lovers, it makes any news of the movies hit like crack. A rumor of a teaser hits the timeline and suddenly everyone’s high again I love it so much

F1 movie discourse:

Fun detail in Dune: The first time a male choir is used in the score is soon after Paul drinks the Water of Life, where he connects the Bene Gesserit to the male side of the genetic memory. Just beautiful stuff happening on every level in these movies.

Here's the clip of me realizing that I missed Edric the first time I watched the trailer. MY BOY MY SWEET FISH BOY IS HERE!!!!!

I call this “The Real Meaning of Dune”. Everyone is almost always wrong about Dune, so I’m here to set the record straight.

PSA to all those who are doubting this is Edric, Nerdist , which is owned by Legendary, confirms it is the fishman himself. Highly recommended watching the full video, linked below!

In honor of the horrible discourse and misunderstanding of the meaning of dune, I’m bringing back this video that clearly explains what Dune is about. If you haven’t read the books, this is essentially a crash course:

To the people posting photos of "The Odyssey" trailer:

"The Jinn" scene from Dune: Part Two is so amazing. Here's me yapping about why I love it so much

Talking about Ecology, one of my favorite themes from Frank Herbert's Dune. It's so fascinating to see how our relationship with our environment sends ripples through our culture and how we treat each other.

Talking about the Dune IMAX ticket release which is reportedly tomorrow, August 18th, at 9am PST. But some people have been messaging me saying that they were able to buy tickets yesterday??

3 minute rant about gambling culture permeating the cinematic arena. I’m sick of it.

I noticed that Leto and Paul wear the Ducal Signet on different fingers. Leto wears it on his middle finger, and Paul on his pointer finger. I researched the historical meaning/symbolism of wearing rings on certain fingers and talked about how it fits into their characters.

POV you waited too long to get your Dune 3 tickets and now you have to watch it like this

Now watching: Lawrence of Arabia in 4K.

I’ve been rereading some passages from Dune Messiah after watching this trailer. What more can you ask from an adaptation, than to lead you back to your love of the source?

I love rewatching Dune for many reasons, but one being to just find details in the background. It’s a very lived-in world and deserves to be observed closely.

DUN3 is currently under construction.

Dune 3 Waiting Area. Feel free to just chill here, in the environments of dune, and be Dune-pilled.

DUN3 has the opportunity to introduce ancient male voices into the sound design of "The Voice". I'm so excited to hear how they portray The Voice in an older and more powerful Kwisatz Haderach. Dune Part Three cannot come soon enough!

Now watching for the first time: HEAT
