I've been a part of the military community for 31 years now. I've served as a Force Recon Marine and DoD contractor with 8 departments to Afghanistan as part of a JSOC Task Force, I founded one of the most impactful VSOs - Mighty Oaks - severing over a 1/2 a million service members, I've led humanitarian rescue operations around the globe in collaboration with the pentagon, JSOC, and other government agencies. And with all that, I absolutely believe Pete Hegseth is the right choice for SecDef at this moment in history. Our military is strategically capable, but it's hurting in the areas of moral, recruitment, and retention - the 3 biggest threats to our national security. We need a leader from outside of the institution to come in and systematically reform our military in these areas. It is essential to the war fighting culture, capability, and our national defense. Pete has demonstrated a vision and plan to do just that. He is the right choice for this moment in history and I am asking our military community and my fellow Americans to share this and show your support for Pete Hegseth to lead our military back to the focus of national defense as our new SecDef. Here’s my take: we may never know what exactly transpired with the Vegas truck or what motivated it. Do the details matter to how we should prepare? Not really. There is a real threat, and there’s so much we don’t know. Here’s some basic things to focus on: Learn how to apply a tourniquet and carry them. If you have kids make sure you have tourniquets that fit your kids. Be vigilant. Say something if you see something, don’t be afraid to report it if something seems off. You could save lives. Public panic causes real damage and puts lives at risk, so also focus on yourself and your emotional state. Don’t contribute to panic - stay calm, make reasonable efforts to prepare, and be aware of your environment to remain safe. This isn’t an overnight fix - we have a long road ahead of us to truly make America safe again. God bless. 🇺🇸

🚨 Breaking 🚨 The Department of Defense Directive 5240.01 was quietly amended recently. While this has been updated several times, the amendments never deviated from its fundamental purpose of intelligence collection to intercept threats. The most recent revision, approved by Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks to be effective on September 27th NOW includes the legal use of lethal force against civilians by the military if directed by DoD, over-riding Posse Comitatus laws that should protect us. I know this probably sounds like fear mongering or conspiracy, but this is real. Check it out yourself, search: DoDD 5240.01, section 3.3: Levels of Authority, subsection 2 (a).
