Dear Namibia she made Zimbabweans suffer illegitimacy and instability for 10 years. We hear she is in your backyard. She's a Zimbabwean queen, an expert in rigging!

The plight of Amos Chibaya, Jameson Timba, and 63 other activists suffering in Zimbabwean jails speaks volumes. It serves as a stark reminder that there is no reason for the people of Mozambique to expect any favors or support from those in power. Dear Citizens of Mozambique, It is deeply troubling that, as citizens of Africa and beyond, we must face the reality that we lack responsible, caring leadership. The upcoming SADC summit, scheduled for November 16th to 20th, will not resolve anything meaningful. The Zimbabwean government, currently the chair of SADC, has opposition politicians languishing in jail. They won’t discuss or resolve issues in favor of the general public, their priority will be to protect each other.

Macheso’s Band Member Dies After Shrine Visit, Family Couldn’t Raise $50 It is heartbreaking to think that while luxury cars are handed out to individuals, ordinary citizens are left to struggle for the most basic, life-saving support Last year, Alick Macheso was among those who received cars from ZANU-PF through Wikknel Chivayro. While such donations may be presented as empowering artists, one cannot help but wonder: could that money have been used to purchase ambulances and equip medical facilities across the country, services that would benefit everyone? Just months later, tragedy struck. Macheso’s band member, Banabas Mandipota, died under deeply troubling circumstances. A family member revealed that they struggled desperately to raise just $50 for transport to rush him for help. Instead of accessing proper medical care, precious time was lost. He was eventually taken to a prophet’s shrine, then brought back home, where he sadly passed away. What does this say about the state of a nation, where people no longer trust hospitals enough to turn to them in times of crisis? In this video, the family shared that, apart from a toothache, he had swollen neck, whitish wounds on his neck and complained that his legs felt cold, stabbing pains in the side(mabayo), symptoms that, in a functioning healthcare system, could have been urgently assessed and treated. In many countries, an ambulance would arrive within minutes. Lives would be saved. But in Zimbabwe, a man lost his life over $50.

‘You Can’t Distort Representation Then Claim Legitimacy’: DCP Rejects Zanu PF’s Two-Thirds Majority Claim The Defend The Constitution Platform (DCP) has dismissed claims that Zanu PF commands a legitimate two-thirds majority in Parliament, arguing that ongoing recalls have skewed representation ahead of the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 vote. 🔁 `Follow and share change Radio WhatsApp Channel in every group!` DCP Convenor, Senator Jameson Timba, said: “The Speaker knows it. You cannot first distort representation, and claim constitutional legitimacy for decisions taken by that distorted representation.” Timba argued that the wave of recalls initiated by Sengezo Tshabangu since late 2023 has removed elected opposition MPs and Councillors, replacing them through by-elections held under disputed conditions. According to DCP, that process has artificially boosted Zanu PF’s seat count and cannot be used to pass far-reaching amendments. CAB3 seeks to extend terms for the President, MPs and Councillors from five to seven years and replace direct presidential elections with a parliamentary vote. It requires a two-thirds majority in both Houses to pass. “The Constitution demands more than arithmetic. It demands legitimacy,” Timba said. “If you use recalls to engineer a majority, then use that majority to amend the Constitution, you poison the entire process. The product of an illegitimate process cannot be legitimate law.” Parliament is set to continue debate on CAB3 this week, with a vote possible by tomorrow. Civic groups backing DCP have called for the Bill to be withdrawn until by-elections are held to fill all vacant seats and until the recall mechanism is reviewed by the courts.
