Let’s talk about taxes. Do you own a rental property? If so, are you paying Rental Income Tax? If you earn Frw 180,000 or more per year from renting out a property, you are required to register for Rental Income Tax. The tax is calculated on 50% of the rental income you receive. 🎥 Watch the video: Discover how #Kigali’s wetlands are being transformed into vibrant green spaces. In #KigaliYacu, we have seen firsthand the value of restoring and protecting our wetlands. Building on the success of Nyandungu Eco-Park, the rehabilitation of five additional wetlands, carried out in partnership with REMA, is now over 90% complete. These beautiful green spaces feature artificial lakes, pedestrian walkways, cycling lanes, indigenous trees that provide shade and fresh air, and habitats for a variety of bird species whose songs bring life to the wetlands. As these projects near completion, they will offer even more opportunities for residents and visitors to connect with nature, relax, exercise, and enjoy the beauty of Kigali’s natural environment. On the sidelines of the 2025 Busan Global City Tourism Summit, the Mayor of the City of Kigali, Samuel DUSENGIYUMVA, appeared on Busan e-FM radio (BeFM) to discuss the future of city tourism and explore ways to strengthen collaboration and partnerships between 부산광역시 and Kigali. He highlighted Kigali’s reputation as Africa’s cleanest city, our 38th global ranking for safety, and our position as the second city in Africa for hosting global events. The Mayor also spoke about Kigali’s remarkable transformation, a city defined by hospitality, unity, and innovation, now emerging as a vibrant hub for partnerships and global opportunities in real estate, tourism, and other key sectors. The Walk to Remember has begun at IPRC Kigali, formerly ETO Kicukiro, in tribute to the thousands of Tutsi who were killed at Nyanza–Kicukiro after being abandoned by the UN peacekeeping contingent. The walk brings together survivors, families of victims, Kigali residents, government officials, representatives of different institutions, ambassadors accredited to Rwanda, and other dignitaries. This walk is a moment of reflection. As participants move along the route, they are reminded of the suffering and torture endured by the victims at the hands of the killers. It invites each of us to pause, reflect, and honour their memory with dignity. #Kwibuka32
