If you earn Frw 180,000 or more per year from renting out a property, you are required to register for Rental Income Tax. The tax is calculated on 50% of the rental income you receive. The Walk to Remember has begun at IPRC Kigali, formerly ETO Kicukiro, in tribute to the thousands of Tutsi who were killed at Nyanza–Kicukiro after being abandoned by the UN peacekeeping contingent. The walk brings together survivors, families of victims, Kigali residents, government officials, representatives of different institutions, ambassadors accredited to Rwanda, and other dignitaries.
