🇦🇺 BAE Australia has developed a glide/guidance kit to turn artillery rounds into air-launched PGMs. RAZER kits can be installed onto 155mm & 5in naval rounds in the field. BAE's L15 155mm round is 44kg; a Mk 82 is 230kg, so it's 20% of the mass of the smallest JDAM. Video is of launch testing with an inert payload, but you can imagine the effects on target. BAE is advertising point detonation fuzing only at this time. Guidance is GPS/INS. Glide ratio is > 1 : 7.5; I will let someone better at math than I am calculate what sort of standoff that provides at different altitudes.
