WATCH: President Trump’s full comments to CBS’s Nikole Killion about the war between Russia and Ukraine, arguing the land Russia has taken from Ukraine has gotten “bigger and bigger all the time, week by week,” and they have an “unlimited supply of people” to keep going, but not Ukraine.... “Russia would like to get it done. I think that — and you know, Russia is a big machine. They just keep grinding forward, and that’s what they’ve done. They’ve taken a very large piece of land, and, you know, you can say that Ukraine is doing well or poorly, but the land gets bigger and bigger all the time, week by week. It — just —they march forward. They just keep marching forward. They have an unlimited supply of people, whereas Ukraine, as you know, is — there’s a woman who’s, I guess, not exactly a very beautiful woman, nice woman, and she is on television recently talking about the fact that our men are gone. She’s a Ukrainian woman. Our men are gone. They’re lost. They’re dead. They’re in mental institutions. They’re walking around. They have no arms. They have no legs. In many cases, they’ve been hurt so badly; they’ve been just decimated, and it was very poignant. When I heard this, I said, boy, that’s some statement. And she said, Russia is a very big country. They can lose a lot of people in a war, and they have lost a lot of people. They lost 50 million people in the Second World War. They lose a lot of people, but they’re very big, and she said they have to settle this war. Look, Ukraine has lost a lot of people. Russia has lost a lot of people. Russia, though, is a giant nation. Ukraine is not. I can tell you this. We’ve been helping through Joe Biden originally, and he made a mistake because he should have done it through the European Union, and he should have been paid. European Union has quite a bit of money, although I have to tell you, they’re getting tired of spending it. But we gave $350 billion to Ukraine.” “And, you know, I insisted on getting something for that money, and we got a very big chunk of land in rare Earth and other things, if anybody remembers. Let’s see what that amounts to, but Ukraine has to want to settle this war. Zelenskyy has to want to settle this war, and if he doesn’t, I think it’s going to be a very bad thing. Look, we have given tremendous amounts to Ukraine. We’ve got nothing back other than high diesel. We have — we have given probably possibly more money to Ukraine than almost anybody over the years. Hundreds of billions of dollars. We’ve gotten nothing back, and the American taxpayers are tired of it. We want Zelenskyy to make a deal. He can make a deal. He could have made a deal two years ago when we had our little chat in the Oval Office. We had a now quite well-remembered chat with JD, myself, some others. Zelenskyy could have made a good deal then, could have made a much better deal then probably, possibly, than he could make now, but he’s going to have to want to make a deal, because I don’t think his people are going to stand for it any longer. They’ve been fighting a war. So, last month they lost 32,000 people between the both of them. They’re mostly soldiers, mostly young soldiers, some people in a town that got hit or whatever, but mostly young soldiers. It doesn’t affect us much. It doesn’t affect us in theory at all. We’re not involved. What affects me is to see that many souls lost so needlessly, so what I’d like to see is I’d like to make a deal.” “I’d like to see if they can make a deal. I thought, you know, I settled eight wars. I thought that would be the easiest one. The hatred between President Putin and President Zelensky is tremendous. I think that’s most of the reason they haven’t been able to make a deal, actually. But Ukraine has to want to make a deal because the United States has spent a fortune. Europe has spent a fortune. Europe is tired of it right now. They’re tired of it right now, and if they don’t make a deal, ultimately, it’s just going to get, in my opinion, it’s just really just going to get worse. You have a very big country in Russia. They have a lot of people. They have a lot of people to draw from. Ukraine does not have a lot of people to draw from, and it’s time to make a deal, and I say that — remember this though: We’ve given a lot to Ukraine. We’ve gotten absolutely nothing back except grief, death, tremendous monetary loss.” “We’ve given incredible amounts of equipment, and military, primarily military equipment, but equipment of all kinds, and it’s time. I gave them javelins. When the stupid general for Russia — very stupid gentlemen — they had 1000 tanks riding up a concrete highway. They would have been in Ukraine in four hours going maximum tank speed — which is 48 miles an hour to be exact — nothing to stop them. The war would have been over in one day, and this very stupid general — I have no idea who he is. I doubt he’s still with us. I doubt he’s still living. He decided to hang a right onto the farmland and then take a left and go up to Kyiv, and rather than staying on the highway — the concrete highway, perfectly good highway where they were doing very nicely, would have been there in three and a half, four hours, and the whole war would have ended. He ended up getting stuck in the mud. It was like quicksand. They had — the night before, they had the heaviest rainfall they’ve had in ten years, and the land was soaking wet. It was like quicksand. This — I — most people don’t remember, but I do because it’s called war. You never know what happens. But he made a terrible decision, a legendarily bad decision. And the tanks got stuck. They couldn’t go forward. They couldn’t go back. They were dead, stuck, and they used the javelins. That’s the anti-tank weapon that I gave them. So, you know, the — the statement is Obama gave him sheets. I gave him javelins. So, I’ve helped Ukraine a lot, but it’s now time for them to end this war and stop all those young people from being killed.”

Scott Jennings comes out with some tough words for the #OhioGov ad from Team Vivek using Amy Acton's estranged mom, who's been accused of abusing Amy and her brother... "It is extremely risky. I agree with you. This kind of thing. You know, I think the way it first got out was they were testing it in some sort of focus group, and it sort of escaped the lab, and they might think that it tested well. Of course, what you can't test in those settings is the rebuttal. And when people actually find out the story. Nobody really knows or could know what happened back in 1978 here. I do know this. The person who was accused of abusing her fled the state and ran away and never faced a trial, which tells us something as well. So, I agree, it is an extremely risky strategy. I talked to a lot of people in Ohio tonight before I came out here. Got a lot of -- a lot of people who were unsure that this was the right thing to do. I also talked to a lot of political people who believe, for the last two weeks in Ohio, things have actually been tracking in the right direction for Republicans. They're actually okay with what they're seeing in the early voting data. They believe Husted is in an improved position. But to throw out a piece like this at the end of a race is not a confidence-inspiring item. And -- and, you know, we'll have to see where it lands."

Here was how CNN’s Jake Tapper covered the Justice Department indictment of Virginia Democrat State Senator Louise Lucas, which he had lambasted as another odious, politically motivated investigation by President Trump when her offices and homes were raided.... This time, he made sure to tell viewers that he found it “interesting” the charging documents were so strong, but she’s nonetheless “a Trump critic,” and it’s also “interesting” Lucas’s daughter is on the Virginia ballot in a local election

PANTS ON FIRE: Democrat Elissa Slotkin says Mike Lee is engaged in “his specialty” of “manufactured outrage,” arguing she has not and will never call for mass prosecutions of Trump or MAGA staffers in the federal government, but they would be WISE to disobey what the President asks them to do.... “Well, look, that’s manufactured outrage. That’s his specialty. I think the — the thing that I’ve heard from my own Republican colleagues and peers, including like interns and folks who work around the Hill who come to our events, they’ll tell you, like I, you know, I was worried. My parents were worried. You know, it’s really messy. I’m not sure what to get involved in. Politics in general has become messy. But, you know, when you’re being forced by this administration, for instance, to sign a contract that is given over to a company that Trump Jr. is on the board of, and you know that that’s a problem. Like, my point is, do not get yourself involved in illegal activity. It’s the same thing I was talking about a year ago. Whether you’re the uniformed military or a civilian in government, if you’re being asked to do something by the President or his team that’s illegal, you have a responsibility to reject that. That is my point, and that was the point I was trying to make.”

NEW: ABC News speaks exclusively with another Lindsay Clancy trial juror, the *fifth* to have spoken out since the trial ended. ABC said Nick Dargie, one of the two men who sided with the nine women who voted not guilty, was “devastated” he couldn’t to set Clancy free, and SLAMMED the male holdout juror... “There was — there was several times would ask him to show us, like, evidence or, you know, describe a witness testimony that helped to prove what he was saying. And — and he couldn’t. There wasn’t a single piece of evidence or witness testimony that he used to prove why he was thinking the way he was, which is why we ultimately sent in that note. Otherwise, like, there’s nothing wrong with somebody having a complete opposite opinion. Like, that’s — you know, that would be a hung jury. That — like, that is our justice system.”

Yeah.” Mitchell: “— what would that look like?” Trump: “Well, I mean, it’s — Europe has to straighten out their act, so I called the various countries in Europe. And, as you know, we’re doing very well with Iran. We just have to make a final decision of which way do we want to win? Do we want to win the nice way or the not nice way? But we’re doing very well. We don’t need any help. But I was testing them. I just called individual presidents and prime ministers to ask, would they like to help us? And they said no. I said, well, that’s not nice. You know, we spend hundreds of billions a year on NATO, and they said, no, but they were nice enough to give us Greenland, despite all the bad talk. Oh, he’s not going to get it. We got it. We got Greenland, and it’s a great relationship we have with, frankly, Europe. But they have to straighten out their act. Otherwise, there won’t be a Europe left. There will be nothing to be friendly with. If you look at what’s going on in France, I’ve been doing this stuff for a long time, and I’ve been watching other countries for a long time. I have never seen anything like that. That wasn’t a little bit of a riot. That was a little bit of a protest. That was — that was a full-on revolution, and it continues — and it continues. So, you know, we want to be helpful. We want to be with them and all. But you’re not going to have a Europe pretty soon if they keep going. And it’s mostly immigration. There are other, you know, JD wrote a great post on it recently, and — but he would say the same thing — I would have said it whether I liked or not. I mean, it’s a — very much of an immigration problem. You have people coming into countries that don’t like the countries. Somebody said it very well. I said it very well. They don’t like the buildings. They don’t like the art. They don’t like anything about the country, and they don’t like the people. They have no reason not to do what they did in France, and I told President Macron, who’s a friend of mine; I have known him right from the beginning, right after I got elected the first time, I got to meet him. I liked him. I still like him. But I said, if you don’t stop the immigration problem, you’re not going to have a country left, and I said that to Germany, and I said it to the UK. I mean, you take a look at the UK, they have a mayor in London who is horrible. I mean, he’s just absolutely horrible and so bad, what’s happened to London, what’s happened to Paris. If they don’t stop it and remove people — I’m not just talking about stuff. You got to remove people, get them the hell out, or they’re not going to have a they’re not going to have a European Union. They’re not going to have anything, and I like the people. They’re friends of mine, I guess indirectly or directly. That’s where I came from, right? Some of us come from that part, that neck of the woods, but they better get moving because they don’t have much time. When you look at France, and it happened in Italy too, smaller scale, but it’s right there. It’s simmering. If you don’t get that out, you’re going to have to remove the people. You’re going to have to remove those people that are insurrectionists. You’re going to have to get them out of the country. You can’t just say, oh, we won’t take any more, and they continue to take. I mean, again, take a look at Spain just a couple of weeks ago: 100 and some odd thousand people in just a matter of minutes rushed into the country. They don’t do anything about it. I don’t know where they’re living. I don’t know; it’s a crazy situation going on, so we have now a border that’s as strong as we’ve ever had, by far. It’s been that way since the very beginning of my second term or third term, depending on the way you want to define it, and I just don’t want the results of this. I’d like the third term, but I don’t want the results of the second term, but this is — this has been an amazing thing has happened to it. We have — we have the strongest border we’ve ever had. We have the single greatest moment in the history of our country in terms of the economy, meaning the big economy, meaning the trillions and trillions of dollars that’s building plants and factories all over our country. We’re just — Toyota just announced they’re coming in with a massive car plant. You know, we had a period of 49 years where we lost many car plants, but not one was built. And now, we’re building more car plants than we’ve ever built before. We’re leading China in SI — superintelligence. We’re leading them. We’re leading everybody. We’re leading the world in just about everything. And, you know, I call it the Golden Age. This is the golden age of America. It’s a pretty amazing time.”

Trump: “Well, I would meet in order — anything I can do to end the war, whether somebody is there or not, whatever I can do to end the war. And they do want to have a meeting at my suggestion, because I’m going to be over in China in November on the denuclearization — and, if we can do denuclearization, I will have done the world a big, big favor, but — so, we are going to have —” Bruce: “But Zelenskyy said you’re on the wrong side of history here, sir.” Trump: “— we are going to have —” Bruce: “Zelenskyy says you’re on the wrong side of history.” Trump: “What’d you say?” Bruce: “Zelenskyy says you’re on the wrong side of history on this one.” Trump: “Zelensky said it?” Bruce: “Yes.” Trump: “Zelenskyy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Zelenskyy is a man that should have had this war settled a long time ago. If he would have listened to me, he would have made a much better deal a long time ago, and he’d have a million people living from his side, and to be honest, I don’t think — I think it’s time for somebody else to negotiate on behalf of Ukraine, because what’s happened, very little land is moved, but a million people, a tremendous number of people, are dead. They’re losing their male population. Ukraine could have had this thing settled a long time ago. If he would have listened to me — and you remember the Oval Office, he would have had this settled a long time ago. Maybe it’s time for Zelenskyy to get somebody else to negotiate.”

Trump responds to Zelenskyy, who said Trump’s supporting Putin’s side in his war against Ukraine... “Nope, I’m supporting stopping the war between Russia and Ukraine. And you know what? Why? Because that’s what I do for a living. And frankly, Zelensky is not helping matters much. I think he doesn’t want to stop it. But I want to see people not die. They’re losing probably on average, 25 to 35,000 soldiers every single month. All I want to do — I don’t care. I want to get the war stopped. I don’t want to see 25, 35,000. Last month, it was 32,000. I don’t want to see 32,000 soldiers dead. Has nothing to do with this country. But you know what? I — from a human standpoint, Ukraine is losing a lot of — Ukraine is losing all of its men. You know, I was watching a woman on television the other night, and she blamed Zelenskyy. She said he’s killing our men. And the fact is, she said, and it was very poignant. She said, our men are dying. Our men have no legs, in many cases. You look around, they have no legs. They’re in mental institutions. She’s talking about Ukraine, and she’s very well-known, and they want to put her in prison. I want to see the war stop. You’re losing tremendous numbers of mostly young military men, and that means 25,000 to 35,000 a month. All I want is for Russia and Ukraine to stop that stupid war.”

You know, knowing that we are Americans. So, even if you were to say we need to prioritize Americans in any way — like, looking at that picture, you can’t tell if someone’s American or not. There’s really no way of, you know, deducing from just looking at a picture that there’s this problem or that, you know, there’s this — idea of it just being a bunch of foreigners in a stadium. At the end of the day, we’re all, you know, at the same school and we’re all Texans. We’re all Americans — watching the game and having fun.”

CNN’s Jake Tapper cues up Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin to attack “this guy” 🇺🇸 Mike Davis 🇺🇸 over his comments calling her out for trying to intimidate young conservatives and Trump supporters from government service... “I mean, first of all, it’s not — it’s not a veiled threat, right? I mean, threatening the Second Amendment is threatening for someone to get shot. And I think there’s been plenty of people, Democrat, and Republican, independents, who would say, like, can we just not threaten violence against each other for our words? He’s certainly precipitated a whole wave of threats against myself. But my staff, including doxing my staff, and this is part of a sort of strategy of intimidation that these people use. And, you know, this is someone who Donald Trump thought of as a potential attorney general and then luckily thought better of it. But I just think that this is kind of part and parcel of this toxic culture of threatening violence because you disagree with someone. The President threatened to have me, you know — investigated, arrested, and hanged for sedition, and followed through with the investigation, and near-arrest part. And this guy’s just threatening violence. And it is — again, I imagine what kids think about when they’re just scrolling Twitter — my nieces and nephews — and they see someone threaten violence because of words. It’s just — it shows you how toxic these people have become online.”

On ABC’s ‘Good Morning America,’ apparently they are fine with co-host Michael Strahan’s continued politicking and snide asides, such as this, in cueing up a story about the Ilhan Omar raid. “The President attacked Representative Ilhan Omar from the stump hours after federal agents searched her home in a pre-dawn raid. The Minnesota congresswoman is calling it an act of political intimidation,” he opined. D.C.-based correspondent Jay O’Brien continued on that theme, noting, “Omar is a longtime political foe of President Trump’s, and there are mounting questions this morning about why the DOJ broke with its tradition and executed that search on her home so close to Election Day.”

CNN's Van Jones was not a fan of Zohran Mamdani's angry, far-left, rage-filled victory speech: "I think he missed an opportunity. I think the Mamdani that we saw in the campaign trail, who was a lot more calm, who was a lot warmer, who was a lot more embracing, was not present in that speech. And I think that Mamdani is the one you need to hear from tonight. There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not? Is he going to include me? Is he going -- is he -- is he going to be more of a class warrior even in office? I think he missed a chance tonight to to open up and bring more people into the tent. I think his tone was sharp. I think he was using the microphone in a way that he was almost yelling. And that's not the Mamdani that we've seen on Tiktok and the great interviews and stuff like that." "So, I felt like it was a little bit of a character switch here, where the warm, open, embracing guy that's close to working people was not on stage tonight. And there were some some other voice on stage. That said, he's very young. And he just pulled off something very, very difficult. And I wouldn't write him off, but I think he missed an opportunity to open himself up tonight. And I think that that will probably cost him going forward."

Wow. BRUTAL words for her fellow liberals from Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky on CNN: “I’m going to speak some hard truths...We are not be party of common sense, which is the message the voters sent to us...When we address Latino voters...as Latinx, for instance, b/c that’s the politically correct thing to do, it makes them think we don’t even live in the same planet as they do. When we are too afraid to say that, hey, college kids, if you're trashing the campus of Columbia University b/c you’re unhappy about some sort of policy and you’re taking over a university and you’re trashing it and preventing other students from learning, that is unacceptable. But we’re so worried about alienating one or another cohort in our coalition that we do not know what to say when normal people look at that and say, wait a second. I send my kids to college so they can learn, not so they can burn buildings and trash lawns, right? And so on and so forth. When we put pronouns after names and say she/her as opposed to saying, you know what, if I call you by the wrong pronoun, call me out. I am sorry. I won't do it again. But stop with the virtue signaling and speak to people like they’re normal. There is nothing that I'm going to say to Shermichael that I’m not going to say to your or I’m not going to say to somebody else. I speak the same language to everybody. But that’s not what Democrats do. We constantly try to parse out different ways of speaking because our focus groups or polling shows that so-and-so appeals to such and such. That’s not how normal people think. It is not common sense and we need to start being the part of common sense again. Joe Biden is not responsible for that, neither is Kamala Harris. That is a problem that Democrats have had for years. I’ve been banging the drum on this for I don’t know how — probably ten years on this. We need to get back to being the party of common sense that people look at us and say we understand you. We appreciate what you say because you speak our language. And, until we do that, we should stop blaming other people for our own mistakes.”
