A’s walk off the WhiteSox!!! I thought there might be an opportunity for the white Sox to walk 2 batters to get to a pitcher w/ 1 out & bases loaded after the A’s lost their DH earlier via substitution. That didn’t happen & MAX MUNCY stepped up & delivered for the GREEN & GOLD!

In a manager you hope to find someone who can set the tone & set a daily example for everyone else in the room. Someone who can communicate & someone who understands what kind of commitment it takes to get better over 162+. This is a great time to remind Cleveland Guardians fans just what kind of human being you have leading the way. This was the last day of Stephen Vogt’s playing career. He spent it blocking baseballs before the game. I think the Guards have hit a homer here… just like Vogt did in the final AB of his career!

Sept 1 2025 Jays vs. Reds. A lodged ball is ruled in favor of the blue jays which sends the game tying run BACK to 3rd base… the replay shows Lukes pull the ball (with integrity) from the wall & play it live & it results in BOTH runners scoring. Call was challenged & overturned

Calculated gamble by the Tigers? I think so. Ride the stallion as far as he’ll take you. If that finish line is the trade deadline you’re hoping for the best possible return. HOPING! 🤞If the finish line is a postseason run, try to make it as cheap as possible. Signing Framber adds the help they need WITH Skubal & gives them a frontline guy when Skubal leaves. Tigers knew they weren’t going to retain him through FA & so the gamble is hoping the dice land on $19MM & not $32MM. Otherwise you never take him to arbitration in the first place.

The new A’s Ballpark Experience center opened up & I got the chance to jump in the “Green & Gold Time Machine”. With a tap of the bat on home plate you can teleport back to tons of awesome moments in A’s history. I may or may not be partial to one particular moment 😉

I know that Thursday was a day we will never forget. Today is not much easier. A’s fans, you have raised me from a boy to a man to a husband & now a proud father.
