According to the prosecutor's office, the strike on the depot and the secondary detonations that followed killed seven people, wounded 29, forced the evacuation of more than 600 residents, and destroyed 13 hectares of residential development. The secondary detonations continued for hours. The munitions were being stored in facilities never designed to hold them. The depot sits on the grounds of the Vizar plant. Previously unpublished footage has now surfaced showing the detonation there, filmed in the aftermath of the Russian strike on the night of July 5 to 6.

🇧🇭 Bahrain is expending DOZENS of Patriot interceptors tonight, and the cost and supply implications are significant. Exact national stockpile levels are classified, but clearly constrained. Lockheed Martin delivered 620 PAC-3 MSE interceptors worldwide in all of 2025. Even after recent expansion, current annual capacity is only around 600, with plans to reach 2,000 per year over a seven-year ramp-up. A recent U.S. Army contract for 1,970 PAC-3 MSE interceptors was valued at $9.8 billion, averaging roughly $5 million per missile, although the contract may include associated support. At that rate, firing 20–30 interceptors represents approximately $100–150 million in munitions. Patriot supplies are simultaneously needed by the United States, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Poland, Romania, Taiwan and other operators. NATO separately ordered up to 1,000 missiles specifically to replenish European inventories
