BC Ferries told the Government about their plans to buy boats from Beijing 6 weeks before the public. Chrystia Freeland and her Liberal Government did nothing to keep these valuable shipbuilding &amp; steel jobs here in 🇨🇦! These Liberals say “Buy Canada” but it’s all an act:

Since this W5 exposé on baggage security gaps at Pearson, has anyone seen a statement from the CEO for Pearson or the Minister of Transport? Or are they operating by the theory that no one is really in charge, and thus it’s not up to them to take responsibility?

I met with victims of the suitcase swapping at Pearson Airport today. They were detained, in some cases arrested &amp; now cannot travel without being flagged by security. I asked the Minister of Transport if he would apologize for their treatment. Here’s what happened next:

This report is a bombshell! There were potential jobs &amp; economic benefits to BC- instead of offshoring them to China. Premier Eby &amp; his NDP lied about the report &amp; hid it. PM Carney knows the truth now. Will he cancel the $1 billion fed loan to build these ferries in China?

Why is the “Canada Strong” Carney Government celebrating today all the benefits of made in Canada shipbuilding- with all their 🇨🇦 steel &amp; aluminium- while they write out a $1Billion worth of cheques for vessels made by a state owned shipyard in the People’s Republic of China?

Another day another boondoggle. $200 million from taxpayers for leasing a gravel pit that is a money pit. Sure Liberals say they are using this parking lot as a space port. The only thing being launched is taxpayer cheques into the bank accounts of connected Liberal insiders!

The Minister of Transport said she’s “dismayed that BC Ferries would select a Chinese state-owned shipyard to build new ferries”. Minister for the CIB said they didn’t know they were shipping jobs to China with a $1Billion loan. BC Ferries says they knew all along. Who’s lying?

Conservatives have proposed that the Transportation Committee conduct hearings into this BC Ferries mess. We need accountability: why is the Liberal Government financing 4 ferries from a State owned shipyard- offshoring steel, aluminium &amp; shipbuilding to China, not in 🇨🇦!

There is only one person who is keeping Justin Trudeau in power. That person is NDP leader Jagmeet Singh.

BC Ferries- which gets $36 million a year from the Federal Government- is buying 4 ships from a Chinese state owned enterprise instead of supporting 🇨🇦 jobs and steel. Will the Liberal Government side with Premier Eby and sell out these good paying jobs?

Minister Freeland says she puts “passengers first”. If you lodge a complaint under the so called ‘air passenger bill of rights’, you join a backlog of 85,000 cases! Does that feel like “passengers first”? The Minister needs to fix this broken system.
