Yes, a nightmare for the keeper. But the real crime is the striker stealing the goal from his teammate 😂

🚨 Landon Donovan didn’t hold back on the state of U.S. soccer: “2002 World Cup is the furthest the men have ever been… we have only won one knockout game in our history. That’s pretty alarming. We’re not developing players like the rest of the world.” “The bigger problem is our youth soccer in this country is a disaster… It’s all about winning. The kids get left behind because the clubs want to make money, the coaches want to make money… and the kids don’t develop.” On the post-16/17 pathway: “If you’re 16, 17 and you haven’t made it, you kind of fall into this abyss.” His bottom line: “I want to give the game back to kids.” SRUSA - College Soccer Recruiting Agency 🇺🇸

For keepers, there is an imaginary line you should be standing on The line is between the ball and the center of the goal line. This video illustrates it well.

🚨 TRANSFER PORTAL WARNING FOR COLLEGE SOCCER PLAYERS If you are thinking about transferring, there is one piece of advice I cannot stress enough: KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Keep your head down. Work hard. Focus on your team. Fight for playing time. Be the best teammate you can possibly be. And most importantly, DO NOT TALK ABOUT TRANSFERRING. Don’t tell teammates you’re thinking about leaving. Don’t get involved in transfer conversations with other players. Don’t start talking about which schools you might want to go to. Don’t assume that because you’re talking to a teammate, it will stay between the two of you. You have no idea who will hear what you say. When you eventually enter the transfer portal, you are going to want college coaches to look at you and think: “That’s a player I want on my team.” You do not want a future coach hearing that you were unhappy, talking about leaving, recruiting other players to leave, or already looking for your next school while your current season was still going on. Your job right now is simple: ⚽️ Play. 💪 Work. 🤝 Be a great teammate. 🧠 Keep your head down. 🤐 Keep your mouth shut. There will be plenty of time to talk about the transfer portal after the season. Don’t let a few conversations today hurt your opportunities tomorrow. Watch my latest VLOG. This is something every college soccer player needs to hear. Seriously?! 🤦‍♂️ Why can’t folks just train keepers based on what ACTUALLY happens in matches?

2nd one of these I’ve seen this week. Seems to be the latest fad trend 🤦🏻‍♂️ Frans Hoek taught me many years ago to keep training realistic to the game
