If a patient with cirrhosis and varices also has Barrett's esophagus, you can BAND IT! Treats the varices and the Barrett's at the same time. Only downside is you do not get a specimen for path, but a reasonable tradeoff! #esophagus #gitwitter #barrett #cirrhosis AASLD
