Nicola Sturgeon’s crooked estranged husband spent part of your hard earned taxpayer money on luxury gifts and vacations. For that reason he has been given a 5 year prison sentence, which will most likely be cut in half thanks to the SNP’s soft touch approach to justice. I was shocked to hear about the case of a 5-year-old girl who refused to use her school's toilets because she would have to share them with boys. Luckily, the Court of Session has ruled that West Lothian Council was at fault for not providing single-sex toilets in schools. Yet again, this is the result of the SNP's embrace of dangerous gender ideology, which it tries to impose on every corner of public life. It’s crystal clear that all schools must have single-sex toilets. I will always stand for the rights of women and girls along with so many wonderful women and organisations, including, but not limited to J.K. John Swinney is doing everything he can not to implement what was so clearly set out in the For Women Scotland Supreme Court ruling. He now says he wants to consult on a ‘domestic approach’ when it comes to implementing the EHRC’s guidance. He should know he cannot simply pick and choose which parts of the guidance he likes and does not like. Instead of listening to radical trans activists he should start listening to women.

It is shocking that LGBT Youth Scotland, an organisation that refuses to abide by the For Women Scotland Supreme Court ruling, has received £13 million in public money. I have been contacted by many parents who are concerned about what their children of primary school age are being taught. That is why I raised it with the Equalities Minister who suprise suprise defended the organisation and said she had ‘no concerns.’

Nicole Sturgeon’s Laura Kuenssberg interview was nothing but more deflection. Let me be clear, Nicola Sturgeon is not being held responsible for Murrell’s - her ex-husband’s - crimes. She is being questioned because she was the SNP leader, First Minister and someone who held a lot of power. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to vote 'No' on the Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill. Firstly, there is a real fear that vulnerable people, including women who have suffered domestic abuse, could be coerced into taking their own lives. Secondly, many disabled people fear that their lives will be devalued and could be pushed to take their lives. Thirdly, the scope of this bill could be widened to include more illnesses and younger ages, as has been the case in other countries. Instead of creating a pathway for people to end their lives, we should be strengthening the palliative care services that help them live their final days with dignity, comfort and support.

Here we go again, we're back in the Chamber calling on the SNP Government to properly implement the law. It's been 5 months since the monumental For Women Scotland judgment on the definition of the word 'woman' yet the SNP Government are dragging their heels. They continue to rely on faulty guidance, which is primarily based on self-ID, such as allowing for male criminals to serve time in women's prisons and letting school children pick whichever facilities they feel comfortable with. When it comes to protecting women and girls, nothing this SNP Scottish Government does surprises me anymore, but today’s response at FMQs truly did. Hearing the First Minister, John Swinney, say he will not back my Prevention of Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Bill was deeply disappointing. In the last year alone, 66,000 domestic abuse incidents were reported to Police Scotland, a rise of 10%, These are not just numbers, these are women, girls, and families who deserve better. My Bill would be a genuine game changer, giving authorities the power to intervene earlier and prevent abuse before it escalates. It’s practical, preventative, and survivor focused. Yet this Government continues to pat itself on the back, insisting the system is working, even as the number of victims rise. Instead of facing reality, they choose to look the other way.
