After eight difficult months, Nara Smith shared that her 2-year-old daughter, Whimsy, is officially in remission. ❤️ She shared that she and husband Lucky Blue Smith waited until Whimsy had completed treatment and they knew the outcome before opening up publicly about her cancer diagnosis, saying they wanted to first process the experience privately as a family. Nara said watching her daughter go through chemotherapy opened her eyes to the emotional and financial burden so many families face during childhood cancer, which is why she’s now using her platform to raise awareness and share resources for families currently in the fight. While she says she and Lucky are slowly trying to return to everyday life, she admitted she isn’t sure life will ever feel “normal” again after everything they’ve been through.
