The default #UE5 sprite material node doesn’t work properly with Paper2D sprites and flipbooks. So I created a custom material function that supports both 'rotate to camera' and 'parallel rotation' (as shown in the video). This works entirely in the material with no Blueprint function needed, making it much more performance friendly. It even supports normal-mapped sprites and works on regular meshes too! #UnrealEngine5
