Meet Mazionah, a 12-year-old girl from #Gaza who sustained severe injuries to her face and jaw after the Nuseirat massacre on June 8th. After seven months in Gaza, Dr. Mohammad Tahir, FAJR’s Chief of Surgery, is leaving behind more than a mission. He is leaving behind a part of his heart. He lived through the despair, the losses, and the pain alongside the people of Gaza. He worked tirelessly to save lives, restore limbs, and bring hope to those who had lost so much. It is a difficult moment for Dr. Tahir, but FAJR stands by its promise to never abandon Gaza.
