I always see tourists staring at Florence’s Duomo, completely ignoring the absolute mind-bender of a design trick right next to it. And today, I want to share it with you. Look closely at the windows on Giotto's Bell Tower - notice how they get wider and taller as they go up? Architect Francesco Talenti did this on purpose. He rigged the design so that when you look up from the ground, the natural optical illusion is canceled out, and every floor looks perfectly symmetrical. They were literally hacking our brains in the 1300s. 🤯 📽️Matthew Bates

Why is nobody talking about this? 📽️ Jesus Ninasivincha

In 2026, after surviving war, delays, and generations of builders, this modernist dream will be realized for all to see.
