Based on my last tweet, I think I will do a thread of Tex Avery's many fourth wall breaks starting with his most well know cartoon, "Red Hot Riding Hood" in which the cartoon only happens because the cast is tired of the Little Red Riding Hood story over and over.

I've posted this scene before but it's worth brining again. The hair string gag in "Magical Maestro" immediately comes to mind. It was so believable that MGM had to put a note on film prints telling exhibitor's that the hair was a gag in the film.
