La Jolla CA this morning before I moved on …. Got half my steps in….

INDY race today - IROC — as seen from my office by a colleague. I was taking my mom for a pedicure 🥰… looks like good fun!

There’s a Schumer shutdown …. So I invited many of my DOJ Civil Rights Division colleagues over for a get together to socialize and feed them since they aren’t getting paid but several are working on critical, exempted matters… Yes I designed and knit that sweater and you can’t have one!

Was tending my garden this evening after visiting my mom for two evenings…. Several neighbors stopped by & expressed their appreciation for my garden and its blooms 🥰. The passion flowers are particularly popular! Politics aside, some people still love nature& beauty!

Knitting at my mom’s place, a wholesome Saturday endeavor. Walked 20k steps, ate heathily too.

A home cooked meal for two. Healthy and local!

Let me just give it a quick scrub before grilling this chicken! Two hours and four arm days later …. First time grill cleaning, tbh fueled by a touch of rage ….

White House Christmas Party! So festive and fun!

“Mom… can you just please chup karo (be quiet) while I take a video?” Meal prepared mainly by my nephew Zoraver Singh with some meddling from the ladies …

From my garden this morning —

It’s not all glamour and bring your own coffee. Sometimes one has to go on the road to argue for the United States in an important case. Hampton Inn, powered by dubious take out sushi and Chex Mix. God, I love this country! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Out of order but this is how I made my corn soup tonight. Also went to the gym, lifted heavier than last time, walked 22k steps, multiple media hits, work calls, meetings, charging decisions, kicked off some fresh investigations. Ate well.

Was at an amazing MAGA wedding today! ❤️❤️❤️

My go to summer grill menu for dinner!

Freshly-cut dahlias from my garden this morning 😌

Grilled chicken, zucchini, and onions tonight. Simple and tasty!

Latest addition to pollination nation! A hand-hammered copper birdbath I picked up on a recent trip to the countryside! Incoming — several gladiolus. Also it looks like some bees are having a meeting in my salvia!

Flowers from my garden this morning. As you can see, my “Totally Tangerine” dahlia tubers to brought from SF performed well. The roses are “Perfume Factory” and gorgeously fragrant!

Napping on the job?! 🐝 tsk tsk!

La Jolla CA this morning before I moved on …. Got half my steps in….

Knitting a fair isle style hat, two yarns held in left hand, 4x sped up, on a train.

Cranked out a little baby hat for a friend’s newborn on my flight today — giving a speech tonight about our work at DOJ Civil Rights Division !

Hi 👋🏼 everyone! Positive news from the ground in Maricopa County! Things are going well, issues are being handled, and the main issue is those Arizona voters who haven’t gotten in line and voted! 🗳️ Let’s finish strong!

Train knitting — casting on a hat using Italian tubular cast-on method, with start of two rows of double-knitting before joining in the round.

My garden today was popping! Bonus Q4 flower content!

Thank you to all the people who understand the power of faith. It’s important that we continue growing the Republican Party and recognize everyone who shares our values and is proud to be an American has a place in our Party. It was an honor to share the Sikh prayer.

New knitting video DROP! ☺️ Hem of summer lace sweater! Arms next after this stage is finished and blocked !

Encountered a mutant albino squirrel on my way to work this morning. What does this symbol portend?!

A brief thought about the RNC Chair race. It’s been an honor to hear from all the Americans who reached out to share their views about the party’s leadership. While we are disappointed with the results, we started a movement & I will keep working to elect Republicans nationwide!!

A short report from Arizona about ballot status. It’s such an honor to be part of this 2024 election effort, as one of about half the lawyers at ⁦Dhillon Law Group⁩ who played a courtroom role in helping ⁦Donald J. Trump⁩ win!

Knitting a 1x1 cable cross in the round, sweater yoke edition.

Late night knitting the body of the Autumn Garden sweater ….. this is the natural speed of my knitting.

How to knit a bobble without turning your work — for advanced knitters especially!

A final knitting update of the year for my fiber followers! * Finished this sweater and 2 others * 30 hats, for the worthy list members * Remember, the list chooses you, not vice versa!

Out of order but this is how I made my corn soup tonight. Also went to the gym, lifted heavier than last time, walked 22k steps, multiple media hits, work calls, meetings, charging decisions, kicked off some fresh investigations. Ate well.

Went to the farmer’s market nearby and next thing you know I’m making sweet corn soup with local corn, carrots, onions, garlic and my own herbs and Serrano 🌶️ chilies. So sweet and good!

An early hike. Remembering.

Sorry but I just find bees endlessly fascinating …
