RUMOR | StarCraft shooter is a single player game “I have it on good authority that this is a single-player story kind of game.” Footage Jez has seen: • Cutscenes • Voice acting • High-end, photorealistic/stylized Blizzard graphics • Third-person combat The footage is quite old, so the final game could look substantially different. • The gameplay reminds Jez of Space Marine 2, particularly its third-person combat and presentation. • StarCraft historically shares some visual DNA with Warhammer 40K, as the original concept was reportedly considered as a Warhammer 40K-licensed game before Blizzard developed it into its own IP. SPECULATION: • Full single-player and/or co-op campaign • Multiplayer game • Maybe a Horde/Siege modes • Gears of War-style multiplayer • A more ambitious Helldivers-style mode via: Jez Corden

Obsidian will continue to work on Avowed 2 | Jason Schreier "Obsidian have a small team that was working on Avowed 2, that's going to still work on Avowed 2 even though it is canceled. While they wait for other projects like Fallout to be ready for them. Maybe in hopes of getting it uncancelled, it was actually further along than most people would guess for a sequel to a game that came out last year. So I think their hope is perhaps they'll get it so close to finish that Xbox will look at it and say "Okay you can finish and release this, it won't cost that much more to finish it".

RUMOR | Xbox to potentially pull games from Steam, according to Jez Corden “Microsoft has some plans with regards to how they show up on PC shall I say and I don't know what that pertains to with regards to steam. But the plans that I know about, and I've got to be careful here, plans suggest, it gives them a window to potentially pull out of Steam. So I would not be shocked if eventually we do see a universe where Microsoft, quits steam. But, I mean, we'll have to wait and see. I think it could go either way right now. RUMOR | John Linneman said he heard from a couple of sources that Microsoft was very much going to continue disc support before the Xbox “reset” He heard “Microsoft was actually very much going to continue disc support, not because they value disc retail sales but because they wanted to ensure that all your Xbox games were still be playable on new Xboxes.” He mentioned that Xbox “could offer maybe like an external drive or basically some means. And I think that might all tie into this disc to digital stuff as well.” Also speculated that he sees a “future where Microsoft supports physical games going forward for users that want to take their library with them while Sony just completely cuts people off.” via: Digital Foundry
