Just another reason for Alberta independence. “MAGA elbows up” Mark Carney was caught on a hot mic reporting to his boss, Donald Trump. You can hear him say: “less than 3% of our product,” “49,000 cars,” then making a cut-off gesture: “capped” — and then, “I thought you’d actually like that.” Presumably this is about Chinese EVs — Canada’s deal allowed up to 49,000 Chinese-made EVs into Canada, roughly 3% of the market. So let’s get this straight: Ottawa makes deals with China. Then Carney explains himself to Trump. And Alberta is supposed to pretend this is “sovereignty”? No thanks.

People are digging through old addresses, tagging my wife’s photos, and trying to intimidate me for having an opinion. Let me be clear: I am a Canadian citizen. I have the same legal right to speak, vote, and participate in democracy as anyone else. Disagree with me politically — that’s democracy. Harassment, threats, and targeting families — that’s not. “Forever Canada” protesters are apparently losing their minds because someone dared to film them… at a public protest… in public. (Meanwhile their own group members were livestreaming, recording, and posting photos online the entire morning at the UCP headquarters.) You cannot stand in front of a political party office with giant signs, cameras everywhere, and then act shocked that the internet noticed. Alberta politics in 2026 is pure comedy.
