1 Corinthians 3:17 "If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple" Overnight, a Russia directly struck the altar section of the Dormition Cathedral, the central church of the 11th-century monastic complex.

JD Vance refused to clap for “nature,” during the King’s speech to Congress. Even Speaker Mike Johnson was puzzled. In fact, he looked a bit afraid as he rose to clap while JD, emissary of the White House and president of the Senate, sat silently. But the Speaker found the courage to clap anyhow. King Charles showed Ciceronian rhetorical skills and within 2 minutes he indeed had Vice President Vance clapping for nature, once the king couched the natural order as also necessary for national security for free peoples. King Charles III welcomes many foreign leaders to the UK. None receive a welcome like he affords Zelensky: In the royal family's private quarters, bedecked with whimsical heirlooms, in Windsor Castle. King Charles's very existence is about optics. And he knows what he is doing.

This was simply a nice hot-mic moment between King Charles III and President Zelensky at Windsor Castle. "You don't want to wash your hands, just in case?" the King asked, as they entered into a private audience. That's a polite British euphemism meaning, "Do you need to use the restroom?" — but it shows a high level of courtesy and attention from the King. "No, no, I'm ok," Zelensky said, in a friendly way. Such wholesome meetings, I suspect, are sources of encouragement for Zelensky, quite different from the reality TV lions' den of the White House. [And I'm not judging that difference right now; The White House is indeed a test that has to be passed.] What do you think?

Italian PM Giorgia Meloni sticks to her guns no matter her audience: Speaking to the annual CPAC event in Washington, DC, she used her conservative credentials to urge the pro-Trump crowd to stand with Ukraine: ⦿ "Happiness depends on freedom. And freedom depends on courage." ⦿ "I know that with Donald J. Trump leading the United States, we will never again see the disaster we saw in Afghanistan four years ago." ⦿ "Will we let our civilization fail or will we stand up and defend it?" ⦿ She said the free nations must stand with "Ukraine where a proud people fight for freedom against the brutal aggression."

Does Donald Trump think Ukraine’s resistance is only about Zelensky? Does he realize that the Ukrainian people hate what Russia has been doing to them? Here an 11-year-old Ukrainian boy describes saying goodbye to his dead mother as he was rescued from the rubble after three Russian rockets hit Vinnytsia city. He was speaking in the EU Parliament, and his translator, so moved to tears, could barely speak herself.

The Russians began to attack, so the choir & audience carried on in the Odesa Opera House cellar. Odesa is a largely Russian-speaking city but most Odesans hate Russia & love freedom. As I have observed, after each attack more people choose to speak Ukrainian in defiance.

🎄🇫🇮 This was one of our most-watched videos of 2025: This is quite cool: The Finns refuse to call Russia by the stolen name “Rus”—which anciently defines Swedes and, later on, Ukrainians. Instead, they call Russia “Venäjä.” Finland, with just 5.6 million people, is one of the strongest nations in Europe—aware of its identity, prepared to fight, and, understanding the Russian threat, generously helping Ukraine. Its president Alexander Stubb has elevated Finland as a key geopolitical player. music: the great Finnish composer Sibelius UFN /

Margaret Thatcher saw exactly who Putin was—25 years ago! Exactly! And still current European and American leaders today are naive—or afraid. What do you think of Baroness Thatcher's warning about Ukraine? "[Russians] still do not value human life in the same way that we do."

King to Trump: As King of Canada, I am also hosting the World Cup this year King Charles IIi, with sincere kindness and graciousness to his welcoming hosts President Trump and the First Lady made it nevertheless abundantly clear that he, not Trump or anyone else, is King of Canada—and of many other nations besides, including *five* who will participate in the World Cup. After Elon Musk handed Giorgia Meloni an Atlantic Council award in NYC this past week, the Italian prime minister used the moment to state clearly that Ukraine must win—and that the West, if it still believes in democracy and dignity—must help. Voice's like Meloni's can help snap so many people out of the propaganda coma that prevents them from standing with Ukraine. Maybe Elon, who has castigated Ukraine and who has ignored Ukraine's great successes, will wake up.

Twenty-five years ago, Margaret Thatcher, then-75, issued a shocking warning about Putin. Since then, successive American presidents—Bush, Obama, Biden, and initially Trump—have been played by Putin. Watch Baroness Thatcher's remarkably clear-sighted warning:

Many criticize me for reporting the truth that Hunter Biden made money from Moscow, not from Ukraine. Well, here's part of the reason why I care: He has lately been going on America's most popular podcasts, pretending to be a Ukraine expert though he was hired from Moscow, and absolutely sh*ting all over Ukraine. He knows nothing of Ukraine's anti-corruption civil society or Maidan Revolution because he was hired by pro-Kremlin people who opposed the revolution! And then he conflates Ukraine and Russia–as you can hear on this interview with the pro-Russian, Candace-adjacent Shawn Ryan show from 2025. The lie that Hunter made money from Ukraine has turned many Republicans against Ukraine. And Hunter also turns Democrats against Ukraine, as you can see in this clip.

Boris Johnson: "I was in every signifcant Nato meeting ... There was never a snowball's chance in Hades of Ukraine joining Nato." Moscow's claims that it is simply trying to keep Ukraine out of Nato are an embarrasingly bad lie. Look back at the headlines pre-2022. There was ZERO desire from Washington and other major Nato captials for Ukraine to join. ZERO. Sure, leaders such as Biden and even Bush would mention the idea, because they didn't want to sound heartless but for decades they always put down Ukraine, tried to dis-arm it, never actually wanted Ukrainians in Nato. Ukrainians were too free, too uncontrollable. There was zero chance of Ukraine joining Nato, as Boris Johnson made clear last week at the annual Holberg Debate hosted by the Kingdom of Norway in seaside Bergen.

Is a new strength stirring in France? Did the re-opening of Notre-Dame betoken a larger re-awakening? Quietly but decisively in the past months, France has been positioning itself as a defender of the free West: Macron has announced a French nuclear umbrella for nine European nations—and he did so with a haunting pageant as patriots sang La Marseillaise around a nuclear sub. Unlike Britain, France was ready at sea for whatever might happen in the Middle East and has taken action against total Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz. France has provided serious intel, tech, and weapons to include, and Paris is the home of the Coalition of the Willing. What's the next step? Maybe a dozen French officers to Lviv—crossing one of Russia's last remaining paper tiger red lines and transforming the Coalition of the Willing into the Coalition of the Doing ...
