All the non-Sesame Street Muppet productions have “cooldown sections” filled to the brim with unhinged interactions, all done in-character. If you want an especially wild example of such sessions, here’s one recorded during a filming session for Bear in the Big Blue House:

I wonder how many kids these days who are introducing themselves to Cyberchase (assuming such newcomers to the series exist) are going to get the reference to a 1995 television series that had already concluded a year prior to this show's premiere in 2002.

The coolest aspect of The Fairly OddParents on cable was that if you watched the reruns with the SAP track toggled on, you got the raw instrumental for the featured episode - allowing you to appreciate the show’s musical stylings even more. R.I.P. Guy Moon.

“Team Homer”’s ending originally had a reveal that Homer stole Haing S. Ngor’s Oscar for The Killing Fields. The episode premiered one month before Ngor’s murder, so the scene was edited afterwards as the show’s crew was worried viewers would think Homer killed him for the award.

Believe it or not, lots of normies and even professional journalists actually HAVE referred to Family Guy as “The Family Guy”. This phenomenon was even lampooned in the show itself during Season 12.

Too bad nobody at WB nor Amblin got the memo that this was meant to be a way of telling them the attached show doesn’t work with a third character thrown in.

I’ve been trying to find the right way to explain why I don’t vibe with Rock, Paper, Scissors for a long while now - and I think I finally found it: every episode of the show feels to me like this joke stretched even further to 11 minutes.

No edit competes with the sheer hilarity of the original clip. Even when their budgets decreased, the talented crew at Termite Terrace found ways to make their cartoons laugh-out-loud funny.

Studios need to bring back teaser trailers for movies that are part of a popular franchise tricking theatergoers into believing they belong to another popular franchise until the most comically opportune time to reveal the bait and switch.

Fun fact: the show’s rotating set of gags involving Donald and the gong at the end of its intro was what inspired the couch gags on The Simpsons.

Randy Newman recorded a demo track for this song that made it to Monsters, Inc.’s soundtrack album. As grand as Mike and Sully’s version may be, there’s something poignant about a rendition where Newman does the whole song himself in the confines of his personal recording booth.
