Does anyone remember the Aaron Spelling Television show THE HEIGHTS? I think it lasted a half season, I was the guest star on the 6th episode 32 years on this date! Huge guest star role. They wanted a rock star (for real they tried to get one) and ended up with me. The show’s environment was all music, and not a lot of us were doing that back then out of the 80s - acting and music. Wish I had the clip rehearsing with the band on that episode where I played guitar and sang (yes, for real, both). I do though have this clip…. Feeling LOVE and LIGHT for all! It’s a GREAT DAY! Literally. Oh boy, these anniversary numbers are getting scarily large. This one is 42 years ago. Wishing the clip quality was better, but…… GREAT DAY was a CBS TV pilot and aired 42 years ago today. And I won’t get into all of it now, but lots of trivia surrounding this pilot. I was a huge Carol Burnett fan, so it was awesome having Tim Conway play my dad. Joanna Gleason (Tony winner) was my mom, and Corky Pigeon (Silver Spoons) played the younger brother. And in this pilot, Bill Paxton, seen here in the clip, played my boyfriend. I was still so new to the business. I will share with you though, each and every step is a worthy one!
