Fantastic performance by the Imperial Guards Flute Band this evening at the Titanic Slipways Festival of Marching Bands. A great event celebrating our cultural heritage in a spirit of mutual respect. Great evening so far.

Chris Hazzard’s selective outrage is staggering. You can’t lecture others about Northern Ireland’s history since 1969 while ignoring the brutal IRA campaign carried out by the military wing of your own party. We must reject all violence, but never permit the rewriting of history.

Our Prime Minister said that Bloody Sunday was “unjustified and unjustifiable”. Sinn Fein leaders meanwhile continue to justify cold blooded murders. Their narrative is a cancer in our politics that fuels division &amp; polarisation .

A magical night at the Titanic Slipways Festival of Marching Bands, organised by Belfast Bands Forum as part of Fleadh Cheoil. As dusk fell, the Loyal, East Belfast finished the event with The Sash to a roaring reception. Culture. Mutual respect. Proud of Northern Ireland.

It was clear yesterday during the debate on the minimum age of criminal responsibility that the Alliance, Sinn Fein &amp; SDLP parties did not understand the law change they were proposing. I revealed the PSNI would not even be able to take forensics from suspects of serious crimes.

Mid &amp; East Antrim Borough Council have used a Noise Abatement Notice to stop my constituent practicing his Lambeg Drum; he now faces a £5k if he drums. I’ve written to the Director of Environmental Services pressing for an immediate review of this action.

I was asked by Claire Hanna MP at the Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee on Wednesday about my actions in relation to the Petition of Concern, the minimum age of criminal responsibility debate and democratic legitimacy in Northern Ireland. Bad laws damage legitimacy.

I reflected during my interview on Nolan Live that the people in Northern Ireland would despair at listening to politician’s criticising others efforts to promote Northern Ireland and drive prosperity for all our people. Pretty point scoring is not what our people deserve.

Clip View From Stormont . Instead of being unable to set a budget, we should be showing fiscal responsibility &amp; then with credibility making a case to the government for NI to reduce corporation tax and pilot a reduction in VAT for hospitality &amp; tourism to transform our economy.

It is simply unacceptable that our Justice Minister expressed empathy this morning for terrorists who committed the most horrendous atrocities. An awful message for our victims &amp; survivors to hear - especially from the person running justice.

I made a statement today in the Assembly outlining previously unknown details about the incident at the Police Ombudsman’s home. Serious concerns exist about her fitness for office &amp; her security clearance. There was immense public interest in favour of making this statement.

Amy Doherty is the latest woman to be murdered in Northern Ireland. There are no shortage of words, slogans and straplines about tackling violence against women &amp; girls but insufficient action within our justice system.

We should all be striving to make Northern Ireland work, foster good relations and promote Northern Ireland’s excellent workforce around the world. Sadly, Sinn Fein have been doing the opposite on all these counts in recent months.

The Alliance Party are claiming I am uncivil in the Assembly chamber. Watch this clip from last nights memorials motion. I spoke calmly &amp; respectfully and I was then strongly rebuked by Paula Bradshaw MLA. Make your own mind up.

When reality collided with ideology I was simply abused. Under the proposed law change - If a male 1 day less than 14 years old upskirted a female teacher/pupil; the victim would be told he hadn’t committed a crime &amp; the phone couldn’t be seized as evidence even if he denied it.

Let’s hope that 2025 is the last year a pupil in Northern Ireland can be denied the right to wear a coat to and fro school. Progress has been made. I’ve had a lot of feedback whilst I’ve been raising this issue from parents &amp; pupils. #Practicalpolitics

Today I spoke in the Assembly chamber about the dreadful assassination of Charlie Kirk. We are all too aware of political violence in Northern Ireland - I challenged some of my Assembly colleagues to end the narrative that violence can ever be justified.

In yesterday’s Sinn Fein motion proposing tax raising powers, I highlighted the failure of many politicians to promote our economy. We’ve record low unemployment, a highly skilled workforce &amp; world class sectors such as fintech, agri-food &amp; cyber security.
