I’m all in on Washington CB Tacario Davis as a Day 2 swing for the fences pick. Ultra rare tools with 4.4 speed at 6’4 and 34” arms. It’s impossible to throw over the top on this guy. He’s a press man/cover 3 guy all the way. Like most of these taller corners, his lack of lateral fluidity gets him in trouble in off coverage. But just like K-State safety VJ Payne, this dude has one of the highest upsides at the position if put in the right scheme. I was high on Nahshon Wright coming out of Oregon State and Davis is in that same mold, just more athletically gifted.

I dug into the USC tape watching Kamari Ramsey and came out with the conclusion that he’s not even the best safety prospect on the team. Bishop Fitzgerald is an absolute dawg. Instincts and quick trigger +++. Has a very natural feel for zone coverage. Reliable open-field tackler too. Most comfortable as a single high or robber. Easy top 100 guy if he tests well.

Florida CB Devin Moore is another really intriguing prospect that is going a bit overlooked. 6’3 with easy speed to match receivers vertically; shows very impressive range in zone. His eye discipline and patience in press man was what stuck out the most. Like most taller corners, he does struggle with lateral burst in off-man. But with what I’ve seen in press and zone, I think he will smash his current draft projection - if healthy. There’s gotta be a DB coach that will stand on the table for his combination of traits + technique.
