I’m all in on Washington CB Tacario Davis as a Day 2 swing for the fences pick. Ultra rare tools with 4.4 speed at 6’4 and 34” arms. It’s impossible to throw over the top on this guy. He’s a press man/cover 3 guy all the way. Like most of these taller corners, his lack of lateral fluidity gets him in trouble in off coverage. But just like K-State safety VJ Payne, this dude has one of the highest upsides at the position if put in the right scheme. I was high on Nahshon Wright coming out of Oregon State and Davis is in that same mold, just more athletically gifted.

After getting brain damage 2 weeks ago and being told he had to be put to sleep it’s been a steep learning curve for little Stormzy. He keeps falling but he refuses to stay down. It’s become obvious that his recovery will take some time. He needs patience, love and medical care. So we spoke with his owner and he agreed. He is a lovely man who had Stormzy’s 2 other siblings and lives in a very busy area. He was delighted when we said we could give Stormzy a better life. Nice puck skills and speed exiting the zone, smart feed to Newhook on the rush, solid puck retrievals in the O zone, and chip to Newhook. A solid hit to take Fabbro out of the play went to the front of the net and bumped Fabbro away with the purpose of establishing a net-front presence. Even his shot was decent other than not raising the puck but that is often the case that close in...it was simply a great save. He also diligently got two more cracks at it, and had the right idea. Two more good saves. I loved that shift from him. If he does that consistently, he will start producing.
