He was then asked if that applies to everyone, after a journalist noted he had recently called Angus Taylor an “idiot.” The PM has form for hostile language in Parliament: he called out “smash her!” while a colleague questioned Sussan Ley, and in 2024 he asked opposition MPs (including Taylor) if they had Tourette’s (“babble, babble, babble”). The industries that bring Australia its wealth and standing in the world coal, iron ore, beef and cotton must sit at the very top of our priorities and be defended without hesitation. To shut down these vital industries is not ordinary policy. It is an act of treason against the Australian people and the deliberate destruction of our sovereignty.
