It is illegal to build or operate here because of Australiaโs ban on nuclear power. The US is now commercialising it. We banned the technology and exported the talent. Lift the ban. A 25-page report from three former senior intelligence officers, detailing counter-terrorism and AFP failures, has been submitted to the Royal Commission. One officer who asked to give evidence has been denied the chance. Why? Because that evidence would put the Albanese government under the lights and raise hard questions about what happened in the lead-up to Bondi.
