Speaking at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in New Delhi, Rory says that LIV had "half of a good idea" and explains what he had to lose in the process (which led to him -- and Tiger -- being so against it). Says he would personally vote to allow LIV players back on the PGA Tour.

Here is video of Rory's full quotes on Bryson and the ruling. On the actual penalty: "I think there's no doubt that he improved the line of his backswing. Again, it's like, whether it was careless or whether it was intentional, I don't think it matters. Hopefully it was careless, but I think the two-shot penalty was justified for sure." Added this on everything that played out after the round: "I won't pretend to be up here and defend Bryson. I'm not particularly fond of him. I think a lot of it's performative. I think a lot of it's for attention. "To hold the tournament hostage like that, and to have all of us, players, volunteers, everyone waiting on him to depart, I didn't feel like it was a great look." When asked if he thinks Bryson knew what he was doing: "I'm not in his mind. I'm not in his -- but it didn't look good."

From 190 yards with a major on the line, and you hit this shot? Come on.

There are 1 million things to critique during these cup weeks. Some are probably fair, others are probably unfair. This piqued my interest from the Saturday presser, though. Sometimes it feels like the U.S. side is being asked to show its work on a specific problem, and all they have is a fairly unsatisfying answer.

This is a sick, sick shot. Just an absolute missile. Cannot stop watching it.

This was a pretty great follow up from Scottie on his presser early in the week.

Tons of takeaways from last week's Presidents Cup, and one for us was that Scottie's media interaction with Cara Banks was bizarre and emblematic of him wanting everything to happen on his own terms. Podcast this week presented by Sap's | Supporting Active People ⚡️.

I don't want to be hyperbolic, but it honestly might be over.

Here's the response from Bryson to Rory that Brandel was reacting to.

Scottie is so unique because of how much he clearly cares about being great but also how little he has allowed that object of his desire overwhelm the rest of his life to the point that golf has completely consumed him. I don't really understand how he's able to balance this so well, but emotional moments like this make it pretty clear that he is.

This is such a good exchange between Shane Ryan and Jon Rahm. Rahm is so thoughtful and smart, and his premise that you should be satisfied with past decisions based on the information you had at the time is 100 percent correct. He also seems just kinda ... stuck now.

The No. 1 player in the world (by far) was asked today about what defines him. Spoiler: He got emotional. And it's not golf.
