This is a new level of Anime “Gatekeep.” 😭 Stop pretending like anime is perfect, someone pointing out problematic elements within the medium doesn’t make them a “tourist.” Y’all are so weird.

The fact that the Trash Taste podcast (Gigguk, CDawgVA, and TheAnimeMan) couldn’t immediately recognize that One Piece is a DEEPLY political series is VERY concerning when it comes to media literacy. You don’t need Hasanabi to point it out, anyone with basic reading comprehension could see it. 😭 That said, I doubt they’re actually that oblivious, it feels more like they’re choosing to deny it for whatever reason. Maybe it explains Joey’s response to me essentially saying anime is not that deep / political.

Responding to TheAnimeMan on the ‘Anime Tourists vs. Colonization’ Analogy. Is Anime inherently Political? Yes it is.

EVERY Rudeus defender LARPS Mushoku Tensei… So I made a shorter version for those who don’t have the attention span for an 8 minute video showing the actual evidence of what Rudeus does in the Dark Timeline…

Sentenced to Be a Hero was CENSORED?! No, it wasn’t, but EVEN if it was, it’s a GOOD change, let’s be real here.

The ludwig Mushoku Tensei situation, created by parasites like Chibi Reviews, has to be one of the MOST FORCED dramas I’ve ever seen.

The Rise of “Anti-Intellectualism” in the Anime Community is VERY Concerning. Many of you dismiss the deeper themes and political messages in shows, often as a way to cope.

These PARASITE Rudeus defenders are genuinely EMBARRASSING. They don’t even read Mushoku Tensei. I already addressed all of this on YouTube and completely debunked this video. You guys make this way too easy for me. And now even Chibi Reviews is retweeting this guy.. It really shows how little he knows about Mushoku Tensei. I genuinely doubt he even read the books if he can’t remember something this basic. 😭

The Lord of the Mysteries Dub isn’t the Problem… You’re Just Scared of Donghua. I honestly don’t get why people who don’t even speak Japanese are waiting for the Japanese dub, just to watch it with English subtitles anyway.
