The second Prince Harry dared to correct Meghan Markle up on Buckingham Palace’s balcony, her fury and disdain flashed like a neon sign, screaming her true nature: a spoiled, reckless, bratty narcissist. She gives zero damns about the monarchy, the royals, the customs, the dignity, the people - or even Harry himself. It’s all about her, always has been. She’s the star of her own show, and everyone else? Just props to be sneered at or trashed when they don’t bow to her spotlight. #MeghanMarkleAmericanPsycho

Surely among the most remarkable country houses on the market in England today, Newington House is a Grade II listed 17th-century limestone masterpiece – conceived as a gift for an Italian princess and inspired by Rubens’ palaces of Genoa. Nestled within unspoilt Oxfordshire countryside, this much-admired palazzo stands in 43 acres of gardens, meadows and water, with the River Thame weaving its course through the estate, guide price £16m. A steal.

Ricky Gervais is the only celebrity with any integrity, morals or credibility and you can’t change my mind. Hollywood is a cęsspool. “It’s a big year for pedophile movies. Shut up. I know Jeffrey Epstein was your friend…but I don’t care…you’re in no position to lecture anyone about anything…”

Queen Victoria’s Oriental Circlet is something of a hidden treasure among the royal family’s tiaras, more often whispered about than seen. Its story begins in 1853, when Prince Albert, inspired by Mughal architecture and the graceful form of lotus blossoms, designed this striking piece for his wife. Garrard, the Crown Jeweller, brought his vision to life: a circlet set with some 2,000 diamonds, originally accented with luminous opals rather than the rubies we are familiar with today. Upon Victoria’s death in 1901, the tiara passed to Queen Alexandra, who mistrusted opals and swiftly replaced them with rubies to ward off what she believed was ill fortune. Curiously, despite its royal status, there are no known photographs or portraits of Queen Alexandra or Queen Mary wearing the piece. It made only the most occasional appearances with Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and later with Queen Elizabeth II, sightings so rare they almost feel mythical. After decades of silence, the circlet finally returned to the spotlight when Catherine, Princess of Wales, wore it at the state banquet held in honour of the President of Germany… a dazzling revival of a jewel long kept in the shadows.
