LEAKED AUDIO FROM META ALL-HANDS AHEAD OF LAYOFFS TOMORROW Mark Zuckerberg, in his own words, told Meta employees their devices are being tracked to train AI models. His reasoning? Meta employees are smarter than the contract workers the rest of the industry uses for data labeling. So instead of hiring outside help, Meta is turning its own workforce into training data. "The average intelligence of the people who are at this company is significantly higher than the average set of people that you can get to do tasks if you're working through these contractors." He wants the AI to learn how "really smart people use computers" by watching employees work. He says the content is "stripped out" and none of it is used for surveillance or performance tracking. Then he admitted the rollout was botched but said Meta intentionally kept employees in the dark because leaking competitive AI strategy would help rivals. "It is not strategically in your interest for us to communicate everything in all the detail that we normally would on this." Translation: We're watching you, we told you as little as possible, and we did it on purpose. AI is replacing the contractor. Then the employee trains the AI. Then the AI replaces the employee. This story and this company keeps getting weirder.

THE SHARE OF U.S. COUNTIES THAT ARE OVERWHELMINGLY WHITE IS THE LOWEST EVER RECORDED Watch it change from 1790 to now. Some background on what the map shows. The colonial population was mostly British and Irish settlers along the eastern seaboard, with Germans in Pennsylvania and Dutch in New York. But early America was never uniformly White. Enslaved Africans were roughly 1 in 5 residents in 1790 and the majority in parts of the South, and Native Americans were mostly excluded from the count entirely. The map fills in as the frontier moves west. Federal land policy put the new territory almost entirely in the hands of White settlers while Native nations were confined to reservations. European immigration supplied the numbers. Irish and German arrivals dominated the 1840s and 1850s, and Scandinavians settled the upper Midwest after the Civil War. Between 1880 and 1924 came the biggest wave of all, roughly 25 million people from Southern and Eastern Europe. The census counted every one of these groups as White, so the map kept expanding. Then it froze. The 1924 quota law cut immigration to a trickle for four decades, and the foreign-born share of the population fell from about 15% to under 5% by 1970, the lowest ever measured. During those same decades the Great Migration moved six million Black southerners into northern cities, which diversified the metros while rural counties stayed as they were. That combination produced the 1960 high point: 71% of all counties. The 1965 immigration law ended the quotas. The decades since brought the largest immigration wave in American history, this time mostly from Latin America and Asia, and it reached past the gateway cities into suburbs and small towns. That is the change you watch after 1960, down to the lowest ever recorded amount of 787 counties today (and shrinking).

MAY HAS STARTED OFF BRUTAL First 8 days: 37,977 layoffs from major companies. Spirit: gone forever. PayPal, Cloudflare, Coinbase: all cite AI. COVID over hiring, cheap foreign labor, or a true AI crisis? Time will tell. All we know is the number keeps going up.

We built and $LAYOFF to keep tabs on every major layoff in 2026. We truly believe we are seeing the largest shift in labor since the Industrial Revolution, and we want to be your trusted source to track the entire journey. The good. The bad. The data. The numbers right now: 334,000+ people have lost their jobs in 2026 108+ companies 3,300+ jobs cut per day Every sector. Tech, finance, healthcare, retail, auto, media. Nobody is safe. We didn't set out to build a movement. But it turns out when you document what's actually happening to working people in this country, people pay attention. 27,000 of you followed in 6 weeks. Nearly 20 million impressions. Because this isn't a niche story. This is your coworker. Your neighbor. Your friend who just posted on LinkedIn about "new beginnings" after 12 years at the same company. CEOs are announcing thousands of cuts on earnings calls and the stock goes up the same day. They are hiring foreigners for American jobs. They are replacing and automating your roles with AI. It is accelerating at a pace we can barely keep up with. The layoffs are the product. We track it all at Every company page has editorial context, source links, workforce percentages, and attribution tags. We categorize why the cuts happened: AI-driven, restructuring, cost cuts, mergers, weak demand. Updated live, in real time, completely free. $LAYOFF is the token behind the movement. It exists because this story isn't going away. Every week brings another round of cuts, another CEO proving that Wall Street rewards replacing people. The narrative is the economy itself. This is not a crypto movement. This is a people movement that happens to have a token.

We built and $LAYOFF to keep tabs on every major layoff in 2026. To hold companies that are firing Americans while hiring foreign labor accountable. We truly believe we are seeing the largest shift in labor since the Industrial Revolution, and we want to be your trusted source to track the entire journey. The good. The bad. The data. The numbers right now: 415,000+ people have lost their jobs in 2026 147+ companies 3,100+ jobs cut per day Every sector. Tech, finance, healthcare, retail, auto, media, telecom, manufacturing. Nobody is safe. We didn't set out to build a movement. But it turns out when you document what's actually happening to working people in this country, people pay attention. 41,000 of you followed in 10 weeks. 35 million+ impressions. Because this isn't a niche story. This is your coworker. Your neighbor. Your friend who just posted on LinkedIn about "new beginnings" after 12 years at the same company. CEOs are announcing thousands of cuts on earnings calls and the stock goes up the same day. They call it restructuring. They call it efficiency. Then they file for thousands of H-1B visas and ship the work overseas. We don't just track layoffs. We investigate them. We built an H-1B research tool with nearly 7 million DOL filings so you can see exactly which companies are cutting Americans and replacing them with cheaper foreign labor. We cross-reference the layoff data with visa applications, expose offshoring patterns, and publish the receipts. Our visa fraud investigation series has documented how the system is being exploited at scale. We name the companies. We show the filings. We let the data speak. The UK nearly doubled its foreign workforce to 6.5 million since 2014. India replaced Poland as #1. Nigeria tripled. Youth unemployment hit 15.8%. 150,000+ marched in London. Blue = EU immigration. Red & Green = India, Nigeria, Pakistan. Replacement migration at scale.

We built and $LAYOFF to keep tabs on every major layoff in 2026. To hold companies accountable when they fire American workers and file for cheaper foreign labor in the same quarter. This is the largest shift in labor since the Industrial Revolution. We keep tabs on it all. The good. The bad. The ugly. The data. The numbers right now: 580,000+ people have lost their jobs from major companies in 2026 215+ companies 230 separate layoff rounds 3,100+ jobs cut per day Tech, finance, healthcare, retail, auto, media, telecom, manufacturing. Nobody is safe. The last time we pinned a tweet, 41,000 of you were following. Today it is 50,000+, with 55 million+ impressions. And this stopped being a niche story. Ron DeSantis used our data to call H-1B "a total scam" and "indentured servitude." He pushed Florida's public universities to pause H-1B hiring for a year. Newsweek cited our visa research last week and called us "a workforce analytics firm." An anonymous account with a spreadsheet became a research operation that newsrooms cite. The receipts keep stacking. Our H-1B tool holds 6.8 million+ DOL filings across 238,000+ employers, free to search. Look up any company and see exactly who files for visas while cutting American staff. We cross-reference the layoff data against the filings and publish investigations with companies named. Journalists and researchers download our datasets free. Last month, we partnered with Wekruit to help connect those laid off with high paying start ups and get them back in the work force. You can browse our open roles at Real openings from companies that are actually hiring. You interview directly with hiring managers. No resume black hole. No ghost listings. The same site that shows you who is cutting now shows you who is hiring. We spent all year tracking the layoffs. Now we can get you hired. $LAYOFF is the stake behind the work. Every week brings another round of cuts. The story is not going away, and neither are we. A people movement that happens to have a token. We will be here for you every step of the way.

The CEO of Microsoft AI just said on camera that most white collar work will be fully automated within 12 to 18 months. This isn't some random guy on a podcast. This is the person in charge of building the tools that will do it. And he's telling you the timeline out loud.

Trump on Fox: "I frankly think it's good that people come from other countries and they want to stay here." Meanwhile, American workers are being laid off by the thousands while their companies file for more and more visas. Really makes you think. Is true reform ever possible?

ALTMAN COMPLETELY FLIPS AI NARRATIVE AS HE PLANS IPO Then: Sam Altman warned AI would wipe out entire job categories. Now: he says companies blaming AI for layoffs are adopting AI the least. What changed? OpenAI is racing to go public this year at up to $1 trillion+

In 2019, Andrew Yang🧢⬆️🇺🇸 ran for president warning that automation would gut the American workforce. People laughed. Called the Freedom Dividend a fantasy. Called him a doomer. Seven years later, CEOs are sitting across from him telling him their actual plans to fire workers in waves. Not hypotheticals. Timelines. Percentages. Phases. The data backs everything he's been saying. The college wage premium is at a 45-year low. 52% of recent grads are underemployed. Entry level jobs are disappearing before they're ever posted. Nobody is talking to these kids. Yang is one of the only people with a real platform who has been in the room with these executives and is willing to say out loud what they're planning behind closed doors. Everyone else moved on. He never did. He was early. He wasn't wrong.

MARCO RUBIO ON INDIAN RACISM IN AMERICA: EVERY COUNTRY HAS STUPID PEOPLE The State Department deleted the below clip/tweet. 71% of all H-1B visa filings go to India. Not because of merit. Because the system was built for outsourcing firms and big tech to flood one pipeline.
