What is the role of a media anchor? I'm shocked when I watch some of these media but I still watch it with the hope that one day they'll reform. Anchors, what they do is, they will mute some of the speakers. Reason is that, anchor is actually having an agenda and is asking the questions on somebody else's behalf. The anchor is having a political bias : Justice KM Joseph, former Supreme Court judge.

Allahabad HC Orders Suspension Of Cops The Allahabad High Court has ruled that failing to record specific Grounds of Arrest in the Arrest Memo constitutes punishable Dereliction of Duty. Citing the Supreme Court’s mandate in Mihir Rajesh Shah, the Court held that Article 22(1) requires grounds to be detailed in writing, not just orally communicated. In this case, the police left Clause 13 of the Memo vague, failing to disclose the specific material evidence against the accused. Consequently, the Court declared the custody illegal, quashed the remand order and released the petitioner immediately.
