Cyril Ramaphosa downfall.. When Ramaphosa announced the commission of inquiry, he thought he was being clever. You know that classic political move: "do something" just to buy time, to calm the noise, to look like you're in control. But what he didn't realize is that this one is different. This is not the Zondo Commission. This Madlanga Commission is not here to clean up his image, but it's here to bury him. And truth be told, it already has. Ramaphosa will not survive what is coming. The truth has weight, and every day, it's adding more and more on his shoulders. Whether he ends up behind bars or not is almost secondary. If he lives long enough, yes, he'll face prison. But even now, he's already serving time. He's a prisoner of his own guilt and public hatred. The people have rejected him, that's a prison. With all his billions, he can't walk freely among his people, that's a prison. And the walls of that prison were built by his own hands, brick by brick, since Marikana.
