Drove down to Brock’s Gap this morning to shoot their monthly PCSL club match. Things were going great, was shooting super consistent with 90%+ alphas and pushing myself beyond what I normally do in a match, and on my fifth stage - it happened. I was laser focused on each array of targets on the left and right that I didn’t pay enough attention to staying center in the shooting area. On the transition I ended up diving into the left position to engage the open target and as I departed the position my rifle got hung up on the wall and I violated the 180. Instant death. Sucks, but it showed me something I don’t pay enough attention to for a rifle match. I’m proud of the four stages I shot earlier so I’ll be posting those later. Returning to Brock’s next month to redeem myself. Then PCSL Nats later in the year.

Taking the new rail out for a spin. One of my primary objectives is to have a rail I can shoot 4-5 mags with in rapid succession before it’s too hot to hang onto with bare skin. Especially while being suppressed. Our first metal prototype is doing better than expected.
